As a long time fanboy of Myths and Legends and tales of the inner earth that inspired me and no doubt E.R.Burroughs, Jules Verne, and many others... and later enraptured by The Descent by Jeff Long I too would follow such an expedition. Hell I'd volunteer were I fit enough or possessed of skills or knowledge that would be valuable... all the modern discoveries and finds add fuel to the fire.

Do you suppose it's still possible to accomplish such and endeavor ?
Yes, if you know exactly where the Nibiru is. And can speak Russian...

Perhaps someone could answer me this...

If there are other civilizations to be found in an extensive system of caverns within the earth, what are they eating?

I mean, the sun and photosynthesizing plants are the basis of our food webs on the surface. I understand that there are chemosynthesizing plants that form the basis of food webs deep in the ocean, but have we ever seen one with a big apex predator at the top? Is it at all feasible?

Can a true-believer really describe a plausible food web without sunlight that will support thousands, if not million of humans?

I am skeptical.
