Fake News...maybe a good thing

As the old saying goes; "Every Cloud has a Silver Lining". Maybe the whole tidal wave of fake news and reporting on the same is actually a good thing after all. Over the past 2-3 decades the news media has gone from just being leaning bias to corrosive, weaponized and actively subverting a population. They've gone from just disagreeable to wanton criminally libelous and flat out WRONG.

The MSM has gone from reporting facts to reporting editorials, opinions and emotions.

Enter "Fake News", the mantra sweeping the World. Now the general populous' are calling out the media, calling attention to their agenda and exposing them for what they are...political hacks and the mouthpiece of social engineering. Maybe the crimson letter of 'fake news' will help steer the news media back to doing what they should be doing...reporting facts (and letting the people form the opinions), not the other way around.

We can hope.

It seems the 24 hour liberal media TV "news" channels are the fakest of the fake. They take a story that doesn't directly affect 99.999% of Americans, and run with it all day long. Usually its in the soap opera vein.

At least with the CBS/NBC/ABC 30 minute Nightly News, you get more REAL news. Though it's still slanted towards being Anti-America.

The media has always been biased and used as a tool of manipulation for mind control, in my opinion. Yes there are facts thrown in there, but the general who, why, where and when has always been suspect to manipulative tactics. Even Churchill knew that.

Hopefully journalism will find a root in honest reporting, but I don’t see that happening. It will get worse 😕

Seems to me eventually the government will want to regulate it completely. The government legitimizes careers, certifies professionals, sets standards all that. Right now all kinds of information is available at our fingertips, that undermines the certifications governments authorize.

So, they'll probably create a system where only doctors can see medical information on the internet, lawyers can only see legal info, engineers can only see engineering data/formulas/standards etc.

Or maybe I'm just paranoid.

Ummm...your almost there...with an singular caveat...

It's not the fake news itself that's a good thing...it's our ability to grab a hold of the curtains edge and yank it down...revealing all the not news on it's other side...

A perfect case of hubris exposed...
