Space Fossilized Cosmic Dust Found in the Iconic White Cliffs of Dover

I'll be honest, I've always wanted to visit the White cliffs of Dover and i've heard endless stories about how far out they are when you're actually standing in front of them. So, when this memory re- entered my mind, i knew this would be my next post.

“The iconic white cliffs of Dover" are an important source of fossilized creatures that help us to determine the changes and upheavals the planet has undergone many millions of years ago,” Suttle said in a statement. “It is so exciting because we’ve now discovered that fossilized space dust is entombed alongside these creatures, which can also provide us with information about what was happening in our solar system at the time.”

And nonetheless, quite stunning to behold.

I got some memorys of my own from those cliffs.

When i was younger my family owned a small sail boat and we did some crossings from France to England and we usally arrived in Dover... and you guessed it.. the first things we would see would be the white cliffs!

• When the sun shines on them they light up magnificently.
• Actually on a clear day you can see those cliffs from France!

Very nice. Perhaps one day, i'll be fortunate enough to stand before it's magnificence.
