Review.....Jumanji welcome to the Jungle

What a wonderful, fun film for kids of all ages. Perfect characters, script, locations, and CGI that never seemed fake or corny.
The concept held tight thru the entire film with action sequences that were brilliant. Dynamic hip humor! It's so fantastic to see a film that lives up to the trailer, in fact exceeds it.
This movie needs the big screen.

I too was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. My 11 year old son thought it was great. We had watched the original the day before to refresh our memories and I thought it was clever the way they updated the story (and the game!). Jack Black's role was probably the most convincing woman-trapped-in-a-man's-body performance I have ever seen, I thought he was hilarious. Great family entertainment, which is pretty rare these days.

Ive always loved this movie one my favourite movies when I was kid. I wish movies were still like that these days.

I plan to take my son tonight (he's 14), so thanks for the review. I just hope that it's not a bit too childish for him (he thinks that he's some uber-mature human being because he can't be associated with anything that his 4-year-old sister might like).
