Well I decided to break my own rule...

And lo and behold I’m greeted with a sense of mind melting irony that my post actually received stars for calling them useless...

Flags are much better, and actually have a purpose, sometimes it has a negative effect when garbage threads are flagged a million times...
But thankfully pretty much every good, nay... worthy thread, will also be well promoted.

Stars don’t do that for a thread, they just give the poster a little digital orgasm.
I’d scrap them to be honest.

Was here before we had them, and still don't have much of an idea of what they are useful for..... Oh well, hope it makes some happy. I guess it's good to see some like a post they don't reply too. But really, I'm just happy to share the ideas and discussion. The little wing-dings are just there. Neither love or hate them. (and mine give a really false idea of me, lol)

Sometimes I do and other times I don't,it just depends on what
I've posted.I have been surprised a lot by the stars I've gotten
from some posts.
There are some thread's that I posted that I never counted the
stars on them.One was about a phone call that I got from a military
chaplain about my son.Then the thread I posted before going to
the ER after hearing and feeling a popping sound in my head.Then
finally, the thread about me needing prayers.
I do come off at times sounding like a star ho,but they really aren't
that important.Stars just make you seem more popular and more
important than what you really are.
