The US is keeping "all options" on the table to deal with Pakistan if it does not take decisive action against the Taliban and the Haqqani network and dismantle their safe havens, the White House warned today.
The warning came after the US suspended about $2 billion in security aid to Pakistan for failing to clamp down on terror groups.

The freezing of all security assistance to Pakistan comes after President Donald Trump in a New Year's Day tweet accused the country of giving nothing to the US but "lies and deceit" and providing "safe haven" to terrorists in return for $33 billion aid over the last 15 years.

The Trump administration may end up setting a record for empty threats. That could be good news for sites like this.

I don't think it's ever a good idea to threaten a nuclear power except as a last resort. Itchy trigger fingers can get out of control.

The Trump administration reminds me of the Chinese curse, "May you live in interesting times." It's not always fun, but it's always MAGAlicious...to someone.

Put the pieces together. Trump promised something "the likes of which this world has never seen before."

Look at all of you getting frothed up over an India Media site that quotes "Officials on condition of anonymity".

How did all the White House reporters for the Big News Agencies miss this big scoop? Shame on them.

LoL

Have your fun here. Remember the motto here.

That is a possibility. The North Koreans will soon move in and then we'll see a surge in heroin use in Japan.

Well it was bad in Hong Kong with the Triads there, but now it will get really bad.

This is literally the definition of 'fake news'. Your source is 'insiders on conditions of anonymity'. Trust me that this is wishful thinking by India. They would love to have us fight that war for them.

You must be scouring the net for any possible anti-Trump tidbit 24-7 and then posting this garbage.

The folks on this site are far to sophisticated to fall for your BS.

“All options on the table..”

Typical response for any country, situation, problem, or aggravation that creeps up on an administration. We’ve been hearing all options on the table over North Korea for decades. Nothing. All options on the table pursuing mark Flynn.

All options are on the table is a generic response when enough #s aren’t given or being sold out (Obama) or rookie on N. Korea (trump).

All options are always on the table. Never know when aN international celebrity bj will sloth.

# South Korea and their lisnamcy towards “regime.”

Never trust a person who says "trust me"...

Anyway, either way it seems the US has invested a lot of money and worked very hard to secure diplomatic ties with Pakistan over the years. But now appears Trump has just blown that all to shreds, by firing off one of his little juvenile angry tweets... now Chinas just gonna walk in and pick up the pieces.

How delusional would a world leader need to be to think they can resolve a concern with a foreign government by dissing them on twitter?

Once again, nice job Trump!

Sir/Ma'am...

Mr Trump is thinking about his country the USA... He is putting you before the people of Pakistan, or the Gov of Pakistan.

He has valued and put you above all these things... and you call him out of his mind?

Respectively... that is awful, shameful, selfish.

Why would you not want to be put ahead of this other co8untry on the other side of the world?

This thread might have been better entitled How one big bully first worlD country can start a war with a 2nd world country just by name calling. One wonders if the impending war with NK was started the same way for for same reason.

Funny how the only countries that deny their people freedom and the rule of law are those countries that have the termidity to disagree with Washington.

Don't forget the UK. Despite the fact that we're slightly over stretched and reportedly don't have any frigates/destroyers overseas, we'll inevitably get dragged in.

I mean c'mon we have a "special relationship" with our cousins from across the pond.

I don't see a threat of war, just a threat of cutting their check off for pretending to be our 'ally'.
I don't have a problem with that. It should have been done the day after we realized Bin Laden had been there for five years.

No check for you!

Personally I am very skeptical of Pakistan. After all, Osama Bin Laden was caught a little over a mile from a Pakistan Military Academy in a suburb with mostly retired military officers.

How does that happen?

Screw Pakistan. Nukes or no, to me they are not to be trusted.
