I expect something will happen. I've been feeling more agitated today. I noticed about 5 street lights turning out on me on my drive home tonight. It seems like everything has been too peaceful.

What could it be? A major earthquake?

I'm not sure its a universal experience as I haven't seen those early examples thoroughly explained/killed.

Over the last 15-20 years I have been expecting the US to crap the bed economically, 2008 was close. As of now things seem to be humming along.
The next big wee wee match may very well be crypto currency and it's effect on the econ. But what way I can't tell, and if anyone says they can they are not being truthful.

Let's see what happens when China rolls out their future's contracts in yuan convertible into gold bullion on Jan 18th. It won't all happen at once, but this marks the beginning of the end for the petrodollar.

Very much so! Been feeling it ever since I can remember, part of the reason I came here 10 yrs ago. I've always known. Also that it would not happen before I'd get really sick first. That part has come and gone. 2018 will be a year we'll all remember for a long time to come. Just a gut feeling...

Do you get the feeling that, if you do the right thing like adding a lot of effort when being creative, then all of the effort you give will give you rich rewards ?

i sense that this will happen for many people who put a lot of energy into creating something unique out of raw materials this year; whilst others who are lazy will miss many self rewarding opportunities.

Maybe 2018 will be a life-changer year for the better, for many people.

There was a large earthquake I read the other day possibly in the Caribbean.

Today I read of a coming economic earthquake as global markets have yet to discover China's economy is slowing down as they work at curbing excesses and or debt issues. I read it could knock off over a quarter percent growth off of global GDP.

Then the US and North Korea are set on a path towards war but instead of the war breaking out in April, it may start towards September or later in the year. North and South Korea are talking and with Olympic Games and other games coming up in February and March, things have been delayed. The US will not find it acceptable for North Korea to develop and build over 20 ICBM's with hydrogen bombs so the March towards war is coming. I read North Korea has plans to do that. Plus North Korea is known to lie so whatever they are talking about, you know you can't trust them.

I also read you could build an easy root cellar to store months of food in at cool temperatures and even use it to bug out in and it could cost less than $500 to build and one guy without a leg built one in less than a week and had it concealed so that most neighbors couldn't see it in a shtf scenario. I thought about it after they wanted $37 for instructions. I thought my soil is hard like concrete. I have large trees and likely tree roots in my back yard. A guy using a post hole digging machine I paid to modify my fence said he had a hard time using equipment to dig a few small holes for the posts a few feet deep. I thought no way would digging a 10 foot deep hole be easy in my backyard. I would need heavy construction equipment and I also have a gas line running through my backyard.

However I think the guy was right that most people would be better off with emergency food stockpiles, just in case North Korea launches nukes and everyone has to stay indoors and no food ships out to stores or the grid goes down as well. I believe North Korea may believe US studies that indicate if they can knock out US power, then 90% will die after 1 year with no power. A 10 foot deep root cellar is like a natural refrigerator and could be used as an emergency shelter if filters are installed to keep out radioactive particles. I just need more land and more money to buy the land and money to build a shelter. However I did read all states had salt mines or other places where people could take shelter in the event of radioactive fallout. I just had to order the information to get the free report. Maybe later.

I also read there is a global war on cash which will spill over to gold and cyrptos. Governments don't want people to take their money and run. Eliminating higher dollar bills is all part of the plan. The US 100 dollar bill is only worth 20% of what it was worth in 1968. Before you know it, if they don't take it out of circulation, it may only be worth what a 5 dollar bill is now. When the next crisis hits, if people can't take money out of banks, there can't be any bank runs. If banks charge you to keep money with them, (negative rates), you can't get cash and hold it if there is no cash. In the US, you are restricted from taking too much money out of the country and there is a lot of required extra reporting if you move more than 10,000.

It's scary what I see coming but we can prepare for it. Most will not. Only 3% actually prepare properly the video I saw stated. We might only have 10% survivors in a shtf scenario with no power, etc for a year. Actually in the first 3 months, I would expect millions of Americans to die violently as people fight and kill for food and water. If you've ever seen Walmart on Black Friday, you can get an idea.

I've had some weirdness happen.

For example... one day I in a conversation I happened to say the words Goodness Gracious & then no more than an hour later that morning I stopped by the grocery store on the way to work. In the check out line, the customer before me said those exact words during a conversation with the cashier. It made me do a double take.

Now recently... just to play around with this phenomenon and to do my own thought experiment I think of a word in my head and then I am watchful to see how often it occurs around me for the next few days. To my surprise it becomes very profound for the next few days until I choose a new word.

I don't know what makes it happen ? Could it just be that I am paying more attention and therefore I see or hear the word repeatadly now ? Or is something more mysterious occurring ?

I haven't tried this with people or objects yet. I think I need to change my MO and start thinking of an amount of money I am going to receive or something like that... I could really have some super fun with this...

i find that money will appear out of 'odd' coincidences, only if the spirit world knows that the money will be put to good intentions that benefit other people.

All thoughts are monitored, so if you want money and have a good thought concerning using a talent to create something, then something unique will happen where you will get paid nicely for making someone happy. Before this happens you will probably be thinking 'if only I had someone to buy my idea / product'. Then in seconds, someone says they are looking for a person who can do what you do.

Actually I'm hoping that by pointing out the path we are on, enough people will get involved to change things so that we have peace and that war does not break out with NK. However if it does, I'm hoping things don't go nuclear. It's not something I'm thinking about that much except I've heard it's foolish not to prepare for a rainy day or for when things aren't going well. Knowing where to take shelter can save thousands or millions of lives. If just 50% of the US population had root cellars and enough food to survive for months in the event of a power failure for whatever reason, that might be enough people that people would share resources and save the lives of almost everyone. If foreign enemies heard that an EMP attack would not kill anyone but anger the US and cause the destruction of their own country, then the weapon would become economic and suicidal to use.

I do believe in the possibility mankind has developed several civilizations that have been blasted back to the Stone Age not long after nukes were discovered or invented. If you search this site for ancient nuclear war, you can find several threads on the topic. I don't want war but I think it's in man's nature to fight when diplomacy fails. If you ignore history, you end up repeating it over and over again.

I'm actually hoping the US has some very advanced top secret tech that can prevent any mass loss of life. Force fields that can block missiles and protect ships, cities, etc, would be cool.
I've estimated what the US is working on in skunk works is 50 years ahead of anything released to the public. If time travel is already in use by the US government then they can know the best course of action to take. I can hope for the best but plan for the worst. I was once in the Boy Scouts. However I find it very difficult to plan for the worst and our government is not helping.

The fact that our government has no plans to my knowledge to help people help themselves in a worst case scenario, tells me that they may plan to herd people into fema detention camps instead of acting like we are all responsible adults who can plan. Things have been good for so many years, almost no one seems to plan or have emergency supplies and emergency shelters except 10% of the population, the expected survivors. Actually that might be our government's plan. Let all the people who don't plan and prepare, just fight and die. I think that is a terrible plan. I hope that is not the plan. Right now my plan will be to fight because I have virtually no emergency supplies. No root cellar. I will try to work with and organize with neighbors first in a shtf scenario but if it becomes everyone for themselves, I hope we all come out ok.

If I know how to create a root cellar, we might be able to dig enough holes to preserve food a whole lot longer in the event of a prolonged power failure. If enough people share knowledge and prepare for a worst case scenario, instead of it happening, it usually doesn't. If too many ignore it and don't plan, bad things happen to many people. Right now these people who plan are sometimes ridiculed on tv and have been given a name called Doomdsay preppers. Some of these people are trying but doing it all wrong. I remember in one episode, a woman had several years of food stockpiled in her home. She had no defenses. If others were starving and knew she had food, they would grab a gun and go steal her stockpile.

It's possible our government has plans to save everyone with huge stockpiles of food in a worst case scenario but it doesn't sound like it when a US study says 90% of Americans will be dead after 1 year without power. I'm not repeating this to sound like a doomsday predictor. I'm saying it to raise awareness that we need to be working to change this potential statistic.
A prolonged power failure can result from attacks on the electrical grid, EMP attacks, or huge solar storms. However since our nation has a huge debt problem, everyone may be waiting for disaster and congress will just go to their bunkers while most people fight and die off.
We have a choice. We can plan and prepare or do nothing and wait for disaster. I would like to plan together with our government to prepare everyone what to expect in a worst case scenario. Instead of a 90% death rate, 10% or less might deter countries like NK or Iran from even thinking about launching attacks against our electrical grid.

It reminds me of before and after 9/11. Before, you could go on board large airplanes without anyone searching you. After people realized what could happen, searches are common. If enough people realized 90% of everyone in the US could be dead within a year, I think people would work to prevent that. Our governments might be able to make preparations more cost effectively than individuals if they made plans such as evacuating people to mines and underground structures in the event of a nuke and or stockpiled rations and water in deep naturally cool underground shelters and alerted the public where to go in the event of a disaster but since I never hear about this, I assume no one is even thinking they need to do that. Oh well, I doubt many will prepare. I haven't even put much effort into it myself. I can't easily dig a root cellar or storm shelter in my back yard. I have big trees and tree roots, a gas line, and ground as hard as concrete. I struggled to dig 10 inches deep to install a French drain several years ago. May we all have peace in our times.

That is the odd thing though; if destiny was in all of us and a apocalyptic event was going to occur, then fate would have been designed to give everyone a fighting chance.

I'm still working on my business. It's like whenever I make a mistake, I pay for it big time. I thought I was getting ahead and then suffered another set back.

Usually things are not as bad as they appear. Right now people can be happy that North Korea wants to play in the Olympic Games and is holding off on shooting missiles. Let's build from there.
