Yep.
Cashless presents the opportunity for that level of control.
Trading in physical media/goods allows for transactions to happen out of supervision. But when it's all electronic, it can all be traced and there is
no exchange media of any hard worth, even less than the paper and metal tokens we use now.
The Bible speaks of a system where all must be marked and in the system in order to buy or sell. What else is that other than an electronic system?
Now that doesn't mean that any electronic system must perforce be evil, but that degree of control certainly lends itself to a lot of power over the
people in the system, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Look at the power wielded by the howling lynch mobs on social media right now.
