You clearly missed my point entirely. I am doing the exact opposite of telling everyone to "let the politicians have an easy ride."

I am pointing out that we have our sights set on the wrong target. If you would like to prove me wrong, please show me some tangible real world change that has come from taking part in our current political system. The only thing that ever changes is the face, the name, and the D or R in front of said name. Until people make the conscious choice of aiming at the people behind the curtain, we will be sitting her spinning in circles talking about the latest political "scandal" or candidate, as the world burns around us.
