The moon missions happened before I was born but It was so exiting for me to watch the Falcon Heavy Launch to me it feels like the beginning of a new space race and I'm really excited about it. I'm loving how Elon seems to be pushing us ahead Mars dosen't seem so unreachable now.

Thank you, What an amazing account of your family history. I enjoy hearing about past history it's something I wish more people would share here. I have a few myself but I do enjoy hearing from others, and your's I enjoyed very much.

I think Elon Musk is going to push Humanity into the right direction. I like him a lot, and I think people should pay close attention to his reasoning.

Man I love him he is doing so many things on so many fronts. My big fear is that he turns out to be a real life Bond Villian...after he gets into space finishes his tunnels in LA and gets His vehicles everywhere he is going to spring his world domination plan on humanity.

I hope more private ventures get involved. That will help to lower costs for these ventures, which in turn will allow for even more involvement. IMHO, anyway...

That, the Falcon heavy, was an amazing achievement, and one that I hope will be followed up by more.

I've felt, for a long time, that this is the future of space exploration, and exploitation. Time will tell, I guess.

If something like monopolization is allowed...that's a fear that may, in some form, become reality. It's a concern.

lol That would SUCK! But I don't think that will happen, my hope is that his Mama taught him well as his dad wasn't there for him or his brother. Life goes onward and by the time it's there, I probably won't be here but I admire the ones who can change things for doing it the right way for the right reasons. It's all we have.

you should build yourself a little mini catapult so you can record all the measurements you like and you will find out gravity exists, better yet since you are so skeptical go jump of something nothing too high dont want to injure yourself
and once you land again walk to the library and get out a book on the wright brothers.

Planes ascend using their engines which fight against gravity which is pulling the mass of the plane downward to the earths surface, the plane continues to use its engines to maintain its altitude in order that it doesnt descend back to earth under the force of gravity. Once the plane has reached cruising altitude it fly's level with the artificial horizon but to save you some time

Altitude indicators have mechanisms that keep the instrument level with respect to the direction of gravity.[8] The instrument may develop small errors, in pitch or bank during extended periods of acceleration, deceleration, turns, or due to the earth curving underneath the plane on long trips.

as for birds and bees , well they have wings and they flap their wings to overcome gravity which exerts its force on their mass.

Of course if you want to find out all of this yourself you are perfectly welcome to pursue this field of study just like all the other humans who have studied these fields of science and all came up with the same answers , I wonder why that is ?
it cant be they are all perpetrating some elaborate hoax spanning the entire time since the scientific revolution when the scientific method was discovered can it ?

Also more evidence. Just google image search "moon on blue sky" and you will see other people have evidence too.

You wanted evidence now you have it and thank you everyone i rest my case.

So no one STILL has not explained how the moon is on top of a 300 miles away blue sky.

Bull s#. You simply laughed at the response. It's not our fault that you can't grasp basic scientific concepts. I even gave you ways to test this for yourself. Have you engaged in any due diligence or do we really have to explain this in a remedial fashion?

[SNIP]

Ignoring evidence isn't the same as none being provided.

My evidence is right here right now. I can look up with my own eyes and see the moon on top of blue sky.

Pics or it didn't happen

Sometimes you all make it more complicated than it realky is. The answer is right there.

The moon is less than 300 miles away. And i just provided evidence/an experiment that anyone can duplicate - just look with your eyes.

Which is it? The moon is on top of the blue sky or below it? You can't even keep your own madness straight from one post to the next. It's pretty sad that the Greeks were able to properly calculate the circumference of the Earth and the Moon as well as the distance to the moon over 2000 years ago. Please, don't fault others for your inability to grasp basic geometry. You've provided nothing remotely resembling evidence and just because there are morons on google that also don't understand geometry, that doesn't mean they or you are correct. You can't dispute science without using the scientific method. Anytime you want to take up the challenge and falsify Earth as an oblate sphere utilizing the scientific method, feel free. Until then your just drinking your own urine and calling it lemonade.

The evidence against the idiocy of a less than 300 mile moon has been shown, along with the requisite mathematics is out there for you to find. It's not hard to do.

But then you know that, don't you?

Buy a radio transmitter.

Fire a signal at the moon.

Time how long it takes to get back.

Pretend you never mentioned it.

Or the laser reflectors placed on the moon. I'm fairly confident that that would indicate a distance a tad bit more than 300 miles...

Maybe?

if the moon is 300 miles away prove it !

and I want to see your calculations , and how you came to the answer of 300 miles.

Yeah I was pretty much working on the assumption that as I didn't put those there myself they would be deemed not to exist.
