Dude please, are you messing around now?

Numerous people around the world suffer from various psychosis' where one of the symptoms of the state of mind they are in makes them confuse dreams from real memories at times.

Even people considered of healthy mind can have very vivid dreams which can sometimes make a person question was that a real memory or just a dream when they are trying to recall something after some time.

While I understand what you are saying; in my and Beckys’ case, the facts are, it happened in the afternoon, she and I both experienced something truly frightening. Several people were looking for us. So it definitely wasn’t a dream!

Never once even suggested it may have been.

If anything one could interpret my posts as leaning to how much thought was invested to conclude it cannot be humans. actually easily interpreted as such as I tried giving scenarios how it wouldn't require too many resources or man power.

It was 2 what seemed like statements made by Humanoid that was just soooo wrong in my opinion about what Drugs can and cannot do and how one cannot mix memories with their imagination or dreams.

This is why questioning always scares people with stories to tell of their experiences,

In this case you seem to be getting defensive about my posts directed at another that were simply addressing what was said and what I quoted and in no way suggesting anything about your experience, that is your interpretation which is understandable as I explain above and below about how one may get when sharing a story of something they believe with all their heart and mind was something extraordinary.

I guess it comes from fear that ridicule and disbelieving is so rife in these situations so a person is already unconsciously defensive of any questioning because they may interpret questioning as attempting to debunk or convince them and anyone interested that the experience they are sharing never happened.

You make good points.

For many, it takes a lot of courage to come forward with personal experiences, and their reactions to questioning can vary from instant defensiveness to complete openness to alternative explanations - sometimes they feel RELIEVED if a more down to earth one is offered; others not so much, and some who confuse questioning with debunking rather than 'neutral' skepticism. It IS a delicate situation, isn't it?

When I lurked on ATS, searching for threads like this as an open-minded sceptic, I'm reminded of a well known and regarded ATS photo expert who came forward with an abduction story after keeping quiet about it for a long time. The questions he received were polite and penetrating, but even so, the accumulation of pressure could often be felt, necessitating breaks and time to reflect over whether to tell the entire story.

Again, bravo to KT for coming forward.

I am not defensive about my experience, I just don’t want my thread bogged down with possibilities that I believe are not what happened.

I just want to keep to the facts so maybe someone who might have gone through something similar to this can help me fill in some gaps.

As always, Thank you for your interest.

Thank you CB, now I’m off to try and find the thread about the well-known photo expert.

Have you ever had hypnosis to try and recall what happened during that missing time?

My husband has had two experiences and has thought about hypnosis but is afraid of getting some type of false memories.

This book:

The Greys Have Been Framed: Exploitation in the UFO Community

Is the book to read, if you want to learn about the link between MKultra and ufo
abduction memories. It was a jaw-dropping read.

Great, thank you for the recommendation, looking forward to the read.

I have often wondered where there could possibly be a link.

This is a good thread,i can feel the tension in the writing, feels like truth. Not that matters to you wether anyone believes you but i do,my gut guides me. Any way I've not had an experience like that but often think what if it was ti happen to me, i like ti think my systems would invoke the fight response and i would pull an imaginary/real sword of lightning from my being and split the fooker in 2. Belief is everything.

Yeah apparently you dna has memory of previous existences stored within it. And regression can pull any memory out, and we all share the same code. So anything can be retrieved, the chances of you pulling the info u want out are slim.
But I'm new to this knowledge, so just the opinion of an novice here.

I'll help you to save some time:

You have been probably abducted since forever, also one of your parents, and your son/s. Abductions agenda involves an intergenerational process.

Hypnosis can help to unlock repressed memories, but it works well if you do several sessions, it becomes more accurate with time. It could also help to trigger memories of other events.

Thank you! I now have the fight/angry/bug off response, took me 20 years to get there.

I worry about my son, and I have cousins who swear they’ve been abducted (oddly I just found out about that); and I have a nephew who once asked me when he was little how not to be afraid at night when they come. I told him that they can’t hurt him, and don’t be afraid. He’s one tough dude now, people fear him.

Thank you for the information, I’ll have to research this possibility as it keeps coming up; I really don’t believe that is the case, but I’ll look into it Thank you!

KTemplar,

Very interesting experience, thanks for sharing it with us. I haven't read the whole thread yet but will go through it maybe tomorrow as it's getting late here. I also have had a missing time experience I would like to share with you and anyone on this thread who may be interested. I wrote a thread a while back just to get my story out there.

I'll post a link to the thread instead of re-writing the 'event'.

Thanks again for sharing your experience

Rhodin

Hi Rhodin, I have read your thread, and could feel the fear/confusion you must have felt in the pit of my stomach.

It would seem your mom was trying to protect you. Thank you so much for sharing your story as well.

I’m curious, did either of your suffer ptsd from that encounter?
