Harvey Weinstein’s Army of Spies-Hired Kroll and Black Cube

Sounds like a fascist 1984 wet dream. But Weinstein had his own hired version of CIA-Brown shirts collecting data, using fake ID's, journalists on the take, and compiling physiological profiles on prospective problem individuals. All using private intelligence agencies.

According to dozens of papers, Weinsein knew the jig was up. He hired some super duper powerful "corp intelligence companies" to give him a helping hand in waging the dog.

In the fall of 2016, Harvey Weinstein set out to suppress allegations that he had sexually harassed or assaulted numerous women. He began to hire private security agencies to collect information on the women and the journalists trying to expose the allegations. According to dozens of pages of documents, and seven people directly involved in the effort, the firms that Weinstein hired included Kroll, which is one of the world’s largest corporate-intelligence companies, and Black Cube, an enterprise run largely by former officers of Mossad and other Israeli intelligence agencies. Black Cube, which has branches in Tel Aviv, London, and Paris, offers its clients the skills of operatives “highly experienced and trained in Israel’s elite military and governmental intelligence units,” according to its literature.

So investigators from black Cube used false identities to meet with Rose McGowan who later accused Weinsein of rape. The purpose of the meeting was to extract info from her so the Black Cube "spy" pretended to be a women's rights advocate. The same black Cube investigator used fake ID's and claimed to have sexual complaints against Weinstein met with journalists to find out what other women were talking. In other cases the journalists were instructed to report to Weinstein.

Two private investigators from Black Cube, using false identities, met with the actress Rose McGowan, who eventually publicly accused Weinstein of rape, to extract information from her. One of the investigators pretended to be a women’s-rights advocate and secretly recorded at least four meetings with McGowan. The same operative, using a different false identity and implying that she had an allegation against Weinstein, met twice with a journalist to find out which women were talking to the press. In other cases, journalists directed by Weinstein or the private investigators interviewed women and reported back the details.

The reasons to hire Black Cube was made clear in a contract signed in July. It was simply to stop publication of the abuse allegations. Weinstein had agencies target dozens of individuals, compile psychiligical profiles that sometimes focused on sexual history. Wow.

The explicit goal of the investigations, laid out in one contract with Black Cube, signed in July, was to stop the publication of the abuse allegations against Weinstein that eventually emerged in the New York Times and The New Yorker. Over the course of a year, Weinstein had the agencies “target,” or collect information on, dozens of individuals, and compile psychological profiles that sometimes focussed on their personal or sexual histories. Weinstein monitored the progress of the investigations personally. He also enlisted former employees from his film enterprises to join in the effort, collecting names and placing calls that, according to some sources who received them, felt intimidating.

If true, Weinstien is a very dangerous man. If I were prosecuting this individual i would want to know where he is 100% of the time. Or he will be renting a room from Polanski.

These people that posed as women's right activists clearly have no morals as they were there to get the "dirt"....regardless of what these women had been through, in an effort to discredit and no doubt bully these ladies into silence. Grim days

Money keeps peoples mouths shut, and the promise of fame seems to have helped keep a lid on this too.

There are many A list actresses that kept their mouths shut and allowed other women to be assaulted. Seems like the Hollywood women are pretty horrible.

I agree, everything is cloak and dagger...even if you get out you have to still abide by their way of life...otherwise your toast man...they will come after you and destroy your life. Sounds like what pretty much went on in Hollywood...until recently.
Things is and I don't want to sound harsh...but there will be some women that were more than happy to sleep their way to the top...A-list actors and actresses...i wonder what they are saying now. Will they come forward...and what kind of tale will they tell?
