I can't see how things could get fixed at this point .MBS seems to have doubled down on stupid and rolled the dice .Change is inevitable but its to the what ...GCC is shattering and SA is in no position to pull it back together .The only stable options in the region might be a Turkey or Egypt . In fact I can see Russia being the only party to the ME that could bring about a peaceful stable group of country's in the ME . Right now its one group and another group that is a bag of cats .

Lebanon has few options and turning on Hezbollah is not one of them .SA seems to have zero options and its going to be a wait and see how it turns out .If there is a plan for SA it sure is not obvious . That ZH piece above about Hariri trotting off to France and a few other places before returning to Lebanon will stir up some thoughts as to what that was really about . Pepe Escobar has got pretty good contacts and I expect he will have something soon .
