He is very generous, buying houses and other expensive presents for 'ex- girlfriends'. Some of these girlfriends have been around for decades, what keeps them so loyal and why does he pay them?

Surely you aren't really wondering. The answer is simple. Big $$$ and big johnson. It really is that simple.

As to the fall, Simon isn't a young man anymore. He may have a health problem.
While we like to speculate about famous people in light of the current outbreak of allegations, I would rather consider someone innocent until it's made clear they are guilty, and if a pattern of allegations emerge that can be validated, then I would tend to believe them outright.
While I believe people need their voices to be heard and have experienced first hand what a sexual predator is and does, until credible allegations are even made I can't put a man in the guilty seat. Lets just wait and see on this one, at least that's my opinion.

What 'I want to make up in my mind' ?
You said "Yet, these same chicks throw themselves at someone like Cowell" . What does that mean apart from the fact you are judging what type of people are making allegations? You are dismissing them off hand as women who 'throw themselves'
I don't see how I'm playing the victim or 'hating men'. You are the one making generalisations.

Well that's the whole point, wait and see. I don't know what Cowell may or may not have done but I do think his public persona is a charade and covering something up and I have believed that since it came out about Max Clifford making stories up on his behalf. The main interest I have in this is how far money can go to silence the media and the public.
In the twitter account of Cowell's make-up artist she has shown a letter to the police and crime reference number. In the UK that's proof you've recorded a crime. I don't know exactly who she's accused, that's not clear

.........
In most cases of a rich and famous person being accused of some kind of sexual assault -- it's not assault at all, it's legitimately consensual, in which case consent was removed POST action. I.E. They are lies after the consensual act for big pay days in settlement money. I.E. Gold Diggers.
I don't think I am missing any point. This thread is about 'will Simon Cowell be caught up in a Weinstien type scandal'? It's not about Gold diggers.
I didn't just pick Cowell out of thin air, people he used to employ are saying there is something 'scandal' worthy on the horizon. He has paid millions in the past to P.R. men who are on record as lying for him and to keep his image the way he wants it.

I really don't understand how you can justify this. Most rich and famous people are innocent by default? Weinstein is guilty because he's ugly . Right then.

Look, you miss the point -- the point Alphabetaone was making also applies to the recent Nelly accusation. Here is a guy who is by and large considered to be an exemplary example of a good looking man, who is also real wealthy, has been featured on the cover of Men's magazine and Fitness mags everywhere, who ladies literally throw themselves at, who was accused of raping a woman on his private tour bus, in which -- the alleged victim admitted to boarding willfully.
Why on earth would Nelly or Simon have to rape anyone? They literally turn down more woman than they don't. It doesn't make sense here.
Now a dude like Weinstein, who is hideously ugly, who didn't have recognizable fame, who was in a position of power and authority over these woman -- that story makes sense. It's called context, everyone wants to ignore the context and just take all these accusations as fact, people chant "Yeah take him down!" and "What a total scum bag" and so on and so forth, before there is any evidence or even a narrative that makes sense.
Also, if Simon is hiring women to play his beard because he's gay, and using a PR publicist to manage fake stories about his "lady killing" -- I highly doubt he sexually assaulted his female make-up artist, so the two hypotheses are at total odds with each other aren't they?

A big johnson? One of his girlfriends had apparently never seen it because she said in the press it was 'platonic' So a 30 year relationship where she 'acts' like his girlfriend.

I agree. I woke up at 6:11am yesterday and tried to get back to sleep but couldn't even though i had only had 3 and a half hours sleep. I don't see how this is suspicious and certainly don't see how that could make Simon Cowell an abuser. I think there is so much of these celebrities getting accused of abuse that it may not be true and could be people just trying to get money out of these celebrities and ruin their careers. I'm not saying that people haven't been abused by celebrities but there is just too many being accused now. I have met a few celebrities and could easily accuse them of abuse just to get money. I would hate to be male and in the public eye of fear that an accusation could be thrown at me at any time.
