Today, a Federal Judge in California (CALIFORNIA? Wow.) sided with President Trump's recent decision to terminate the illegal transfer of tax-payer dollars, to health insurance companies..the "Cost Sharing Reduction" payments.

A federal judge in San Francisco refused Wednesday to require the Trump administration to restore healthcare subsidies called for in the Affordable Care Act, saying the president’s action is likely to be lawful and will cause little immediate harm.

U.S. District Judge Vince Chhabria, an Obama appointee, castigated California and 17 other states for seeking to block Trump’s action, and even questioned their motives.

Why “have all these Attorneys General rushed to court seeking an emergency ruling against President Trump?” he wrote.

He cited the states’ predictions of chaos and skyrocketing premiums and rejected them as unfounded.

Excerpted from: www.latimes.com...

President Obama had a lot of nerve, directing the U.S. Treasury to send Billions of Dollars every year to health insurance companies. Money from U.S. tax-payers that Congress never approved for expenditure.

On a somewhat related note, the 2018 ObamaCare health insurance premiums were released today for public viewing at HealthCare.gov. Nationwide, the average premium increase from 2017 to 2018 averages 34%. That's on top of the 105% increase between 2014 and 2017!

Only politicians and millionaires can afford the affordable care offered by the marxist Obama administration.

When does Trump finally get his own administration in place? Are Democrats still acting against democratic process, and not letting the new administration to enter service? Despicable.

Government needs to smarten the hell up. No one needs health insurance they need health care. Let those insurance assholes starve.

I would love to be able to afford healthcare..
But instead I'm supposed to pay a fine.
I don't see how that helps.

Giving for profit insurance companies money doesn’t do anything to get you healthcare. All they do is create a financial barrier to care.

Democrats aren't "blocking" Trump Admin nominees, but they're severely gumming things up. Obama got twice as many judges and top level people confirmed during his first 9 months in office.

Most of them are turning NICE profits. In a 6 Trillion dollar industry, lots of money is being made. The insurance industry would crap their pants if Medicaid was cut back, though. That's where 70% of ObamaCare dollars flow.

As Bill Clinton said last year, "ObamaCare is the craziest thing I've ever seen!".

FYI...You will not have to pay a fine if health insurance in your area is more than 8.5% of your monthly income. You get what's know as an "Unaffordability Exemption" from the government/IRS penalty-fine.

My strongly held belief is anytime the government gets involved most will get screwed and a chosen few will be better off. I was around long ago before health insurance was pushed which did nothing except inflate prices for everyone IMO.

Because the medical profession sees a "golden goose" when you have health insurance. Particularly through a large employer.

that`s funny, why is there an unaffordability clause in an "affordable care " law ? obviously even the people that passed that law knew it wasn`t affordable.

The cheapest quote for me was $658/month (13% of my income, and $125+ more dollars than my rent) with a $7000+ deductible. That's JUST for me, not my family. I'm a single 48-yr-old woman. I'm in excellent health with NO issues whatsoever. It's absolutely insane.

That's the rub: your "affordable" healthcare plan probably comes with deductibles that are insanely high (thousands of dollars for an individual, and $10,000+ for families is not uncommon). So, unless you have a major medical event that year, or a special needs child, or something like that, the healthcare plan doesn't actually pay for anything!

The ACA was a shakedown by the healthcare industry.
