What is real? Is what is appearing right now real? Is there anything separate to what is appearing that could change what is appearing?

The assumption maybe - that there is a you that is separate to what is appearing - is there?

Horses have four legs, so, by your logic everything with four legs is a horse.

... and you are obviously half a horse, having only two legs.
