Gates To Hell? Hundreds of ancient structures found on edge of Volcanoes in Saudi Arabia

The concept of "Hell" at the time these things were built would have been far more related to the concept of "the Underworld" (Hebrew Sheol) than to the Christian concept of a burning, tormenting Hell.

That would be because a geographic anomaly has been found on Google Earth, not an actual excavation with real people on the ground.

They're uni-flow pens meant to heard livestock to the constriction where the slaughtering takes place.

And they seem well positioned in terrain topography to catch beasts following a route of migration of some sort.

Fascinating and amazing.

I had read a piece of those kind of herding pens for Bison and Caribou in Canada .
