Update on Aricibo

The people at the facility are working hard to get up and running. Unfortunately the lack of funds for SETI and other projects at the site are not being sent. Only some basic items.
My thoughts are if the US government would sell the station to a private space agency like Space-x ,and the country of Puerto Rico would give the land to a consortium that supplies new and fresh energy to them we would all come out winners.

They should fork the software to allow cryptocurrency mining. The proceeds going back into SETI. With the amount of computer power at their fingertips in the BOINC client (userbase) they probably could purchase the site outright after a couple months.
