It's true. There's a new market differentiator on the horizon and it has to do with censorship. Privacy was that way a few years ago. Not sure if this one will end up being a thing, but it's certainly looming in the future.

Of course the NFL has the freedom to choose what is presented on their behalf.

They can choose to have all the players sign forms saying they will not do anything political while an NFL logo is on their person. (I've signed one of these before while working for a company everyone knows.)

They could choose to do whatever. They just recently showed more interest in making sure everyone stands (probably something to do with the DoD deal made in 08).

But you must not have understood my point in that thread. I wasn't defending the athletes, in fact I called them spoiled. I merely have been asking everyone why they suddenly care what celebrities think.

Just like duckduckgo is getting a nice little niche market of people who want a quality search engine without being tracked and part of analytics.
