I think that the interview was to take place at Fox News studios, is that right? In which case, the building is the Fox News studios. At least, that's so natural an inference that it would automatically explain why the story doesn't bother to state it.

That was my thought. It's in NYC, eh?

So...how did Campos get back to Las Vegas...if he went back there? Photogs can follow the Kardashians walking through an airport but can't locate Campos?

That is because the Kardashian's have PR people to "leak" their locations and schedules so that the press can "surprise them" wherever they are at the time. It's easy when you are told where someone is "secretly" hiding.

Fox News - 1211 Avenue of the Americas, NYC, and the main local news station in Vegas is a Fox affiliate (KVVU/Fox5)

It confused me too at first, but thinking about it TV networks are always doing split-screen talking-head interviews by satellite from studios elsewhere, aren't they? So the live link would be nothing out of the ordinary.

Ghosts and Phantoms have been known to be at more than one place at the same time.

Ok, I'll give you that.

They get money for giving 'hot tips' to photogs...and Kris whores her children out.

They've released that Paddock had no brain abnormalities, so autopsy results must be in. Anyone know what else they said about the autopsy? Or is that all they've released?

Lombardo said those were preliminary results and his brain would be sent for microscopic investigation.

IOW, if they want to change that part of the story, they can.

Why would he try to get in the shooter's room if he didn't hear gunfire first?

Why would he try to get into the shooter's room if he DID hear gunfire first??

Tracer doesn't ignite fuel.

And I sure can't speak for what was in the shooter's head, but I know "experts" have definitively said the tanks were targeted, so maybe the shooter wrongly believed it and tried.

Well...Lombardo/FBI/CIA/DHS said they think the fuel tanks were intentionally targeted, so I think that's pretty good reason to believe that they were NOT.

That's what was first reported. But you have a point...one I actually made then.

Still, the reason for Campos trying to get into the room was not given. Of course.

I also heard that he seemed nervous and or uncomfortable speaking and that his voice wavered and cracked. I'm at work right now and can't readily watch any video, so can anyone else confirm that bit?

He struck me as wanting to appear pathetic, picked on...in need of the public's sympathy.

I totally agree, MotherMayEye.

If there is one man on this earth that deserves the public's sympathy right now, in my mind it's him. Take a few minutes and try to put yourself in his position. He's lost members of his department and have some still badly wounded physically. He's had no time to grieve because he's been the center of the attention of media around the world.

I thought he did a really good job of explaining what happened and I don't really blame him for being offended since in EVERY SINGLE press briefing he has stressed that ANYTHING was subject to change as more information was gathered. He always cautioned that it was a fluid situation----because it was.

The stumble over the suspect's name grabbed me. But I do remember that he stated at a previous press briefing that he was going to refer to the suspect as "the suspect" rather than put his name out for someone to glorify. Still---makes one wonder if the family of the suspect had an independent autopsy done before the cremation? Has no reporter requested a copy of the autopsy report?

I found the fed's comments interesting---the emphasis on the world wide net they've thrown. I found the statement about having examined over a thousand pieces of evidence a bit odd too.

So come on folks. Can we cut this guy a break? He's not a superhero, he's a man who has been deeply wounded and I believe is doing his best to find out how this happened. I've seen no signs of dishonesty on his part. He's been clear all along that he wasn't telling all of what he knew. I'm convinced that he has his reasons for doing so and those reasons concern the safety of the people.

NOTE: I'm not saying that there is no conspiracy, move on folks... I'm still open to a lot of ideas but I don't think bashing the sheriff gains us any knowledge at all. When I try to imagine what he must be experiencing, I simply can't. Only once have I experienced the violent death of two people close to me at the same time. I was dazed and befuddled for days, even weeks, after that event. So when I try to imagine myself having to not only just carry on with my duties, but do it front of the world---I can't wrap my mind around it.

I agree his lawyer or the hotel stopped that interview last night. I think FBI and LVPD wanted him on record to see his reaction.... something isn't right with Campos

Yes, such as perhaps he wasn't even there, or at the least, isn't even a security guard?

Did they report only 8 people remain hospitalized? That's not what I thought Lombardo said this afternoon.

Also, the 'former employee' acted like a total flake.
