Hello

I am a bit exhausted but in a good way, because of moving around, seeing friends and shopping for groceries (food, beer).

My mom has strictly forbidden to bring any flowers or plants to her for christmas, due to allergic reactions. I saw she was a bit down because of it when i saw her yesterday and she explained it. So i was thinking of some real-looking and beautiful fake flower / plant. It can look nice but will not cause allergic reactions.

Therefore, going to ikea soon. A bit scared!
I have to find the flower/plant and also my way out before christmas dinner! If you don't hear from me anymore, it is because i am wandering helpless somewhere in the depths of the corridors of ikea.

Ok that was strange.

I was going to post here something about drinking one more can of beer and then leaving to ikea. And i got lost into ATS.
I posted my shed message to some thread about Trump! I quickly spotted my mistake though and edited the post away saying it was my mistake...

Well, then... if i can't navigate at ATS how will i survive project ikea? Maybe i should do it soon so it is sooner over. And it's noon here, i want to make my way to ikea before regular people leave work and go to... ikea...

That dude seems to be Dave Stewart. Here is Zombie (Cranberries cover). Live from Drottninggatan (Stockholm). Ah Sweden... our fine neighbours in the west. Fierce rivalry in ice hockey. But they are not enemies. They are opponents.

Made it!

There were not too many customers but ikea is massive in size. First i went through the whole upstairs, found no fake plants/flowers (the walk took 10-15 minutes, long time to walk inside a shop...) then i saw a staff member, a young woman with an ikea t-shirt. I asked her about fake plants/flowers. She told me to go downstairs (another long walk) but she gave me spesific but easy-to-follow instructions (she looked absolutely stunning by the way. Not your ordinary finn, she had some foreign looks. She smiled throughout our discussion and i felt good)

They had everything there where she told me they would be, real flowers and fake ones. Plants also. So now i got a nice set of orchids, roses and gerberas that will not give my mom an allergic reaction!

Now salted french fries with bell pepper mayonnaise and some beer!

Probably too late now but if you can check out this list of air-cleaning plants by NASA. I had a Dragon tree, it's on the list too. I bought mine at Ikea too for 1.29. I cared well for it and grew to over a meter in less than two years. It was 15cm/6 inches tall when I bought it.

Just got here and read quickly through, heard one song and will go back to listen to them all. Love winds of change!

Fin, I have both real and silk flowers and plants throughout the house. I can't tell you how many times, people would think my silk plants were real. What a perfect gift idea for your Mom.

Ok, off to listen to tunes. OMG, I cracked up when you were trying to post in here and ended up in a political thread. Bahaha!

Hiya Timely Dave! Blue Dude? LOL! We'll have to ask him if he sings and plays guitar.

Light, I'll check out your link for the dragon tree.

There's a homeless American guy living in England (Newcastle) and the dude (OJAY) plays bass like a boss. "#!" is not an expletive which accurately conveys how skilled he is.

Sorry for expleting!

"Bright" surprised me with such a different story. How often do you encounter an alternate Earth where some magic, elves, pesky fairies, and orcs, among others, are a part of the gritty underworld of the modern-day Los Angles Police Department. The movie has been given a big thumbs down by most film critics but it is worth watching at least once as it is so different. Consider it as a cross between "Alien Nation" and "The Lord of The Rings"

As the B movie of the week, it does have its downsides. For the most part, the characters and their backgrounds are not very deep, if deep at all. That error is glossed over by the amount of action that takes place during the movie. It was nice to see the orc and elven languages being used on the big screen again. Expect a lot of locker room talk where the "F" word is in almost every sentence at times.

Now I wonder if "Bright" will be converted into a regular Netflix series. With the movie budget of 90 million dollars, I see them saving some money if Will Smith will not be part of it.

Let me know if you have seen "Bright" and what you think of it.
