Hello Chels! Sorry to hear that most of you are sick in some capacity in your family.
Hope it doesn't last long!
I still feel fatigued and am off for a nap.
Hugs!

Hi!

Morning coffee going on here. I found a cool band yesterday. I only knew before that a band named "Bush" exists but now i know a little bit about their music and background. When i find new music, i like to google the artist/band and learn some basic stuff like where from? when began? and the like...

"Bush are a British rock band formed in London, England in 1992."

"The group soon chose the name "Bush", naming themselves after Shepherd's Bush, London, where the band members used to live."

I immediately noticed that hey, we have Shepherd at The Shed and sometimes donuts (or hedgehogs) in the bushes here. I very often spot these kind of small details and coincidences, but just as very often i lack in seeing the whole, big picture!

Nice that you see your sister, have a good lunch.

I have a sister who is 10 years older than me, she is a good person but lives a very different life than me. She is married, all kinds of animals and kids running around the house, she is in the beauty business and has a small shop downtown and everything. I am more of a loner (although i think that word has a negative tone these days? i mean i am like, i am often alone, but not feeling lonely. ) Dunno if you get it. Seeing some friends soon nearby anyway, sometimes i need company. Especially if the company is good.

Its so great that you and your sister see each other often! My sister lives close by, and we really should visit more often. I should be spending more time with all my friends and family. We plan To move this summer, and then I’ll be too far to just drop by and visit, or meet for lunch. Then I’ll cry like a baby because I didn’t take advantage of it when I could😆

My Sister is 11 years older than me. I have a Brother who is 10 years older and another Brother who is a year and half older than me.

I am pretty much a loner most of the time too. I usually go out twice a week, once with a childhood best friend for lunch some fun shops and groceries. We make a whole day of it. The other day is with my Sister. One of my best friends lives further away and we try to get together once a month or every other month. I do have other old friends that I get together with but those days are few and far between. I prefer a small amount of awesome friends, to many who only drain you. So yeah...good company is good when you do get to go out with those great friends.

Finally dressed and have my face on/makeup. Just put my suede boots on. My coat, scarf and gloves are waiting for me as well as my phone call from my Sister telling me she is leaving her house to come get me. Just have to gather my garbage into a bigger bag and I'm good to go though nervous. Hate Doctor appointments, but it's my yearly so let's get this over with! LOL

I have to bring up my pain level and see if I can get medical marijuana. I believe it is legal in my State. Hate to get stronger doses of what I am already on as they are dangerous and can cause complications in the future.

Have a great day!

Oh yes Chels, do that! You must see them!!!!! If you don't, you will regret it big time when you can no longer see them as easily. Friends and family are very important. Hugs!

If I disappear, it's because I left and will catch up in here later.

It’s amazing how many other meds can be replaced with medical cannabis! I could be on some prescription pain meds because of my disease, but they all make me sick (thank goodness too! May save me from dependency). I prefer natural remedies and ibuprofen when it gets too bad.

Which is one big factor in the plan to move! I need to be where I can treat myself legally, and have room to test different types and ways to use. Here I am stuck with medicines that are toxic and only treat the symptoms, not the condition itself.

WOW, Night Star this shed ought to have wheels on it as it keeps rolling along. Off now to catch the last Shannara. But I did warn Mr Snow that "winter was coming", he took no notice. Now winter is here.

This song was a bit of a surprise to me, as I heard if for the first time last night. It describes the negative thoughts that I have sometimes when I am feeling at the worse I can be.

Reading an interview with the writer of this song, Simon Ward, I became a bit confused as to it's meaning.

“Basically the song is about fighting your inner demons. Trying to change and become a better person in life. I write songs to reflect where I’m at in life, and this song is me saying to the world that I’m doing my absolute best right now to be a good person.”

That is not what I think this song is saying. How about you?

Hi Chels! I was into herbs and natural remedies too until my pain became too great and when I had cancer. Having a Doctor tell you that not only did I have breast cancer but two kinds and one was a stage 4, I found myself sitting there thinking...Do I really want to put all my trust in an herb? I had known people who went the traditional route of chemo and radiation who were still alive 15 and 20 years later, so I chose that and am still alive 6 years later. It is a very personal choice where each person must choose what he or she feels is best for them of course.

There is no cure for my degenerative problems, only things to make me more comfortable and able to function. My Doctor had no problem with my wanting the medical cannibus in addition to my regular pain meds. It's a long process of paperwork and waiting and having the Doctor fill out forms too. Not sure what the cost would be yet or anything. She gave me a number to call.

I hope when you move that things improve greatly for you.

Hello there crayzeed! So nice to see you today! How are you?
Yes, this is our 17th incarnation of the Shed and I am so very happy that we are still ticking and have met so many amazing people along the way. This will always be 'home', a place of wonder and magic, of laughter and love, compassion and peace.

Blue, one thing I have always loved about lyrics, books, poetry, prose, even artwork...is that different people can come away with their own interpretations of them. It can resonate with folks for different reasons.

Thank you for the link! I will call the number my Doctor gave me, but they will probably need the same info the site asks for.
