Hello ATS,

Just saw my scanner radio app pop up and point me to Colorado Springs, CO to the Air Force Academy grounds where there is believed to be an active shooter.

@CSgazette and @AF_Academy are carrying info on their twitter feeds.

Scanner radio has mentioned shots fired, but nothing official on the feeds about it. This started around 11:24 MST, and is on-going as security teams do their sweeps.

NY Post is carrying an article on this currently as are several others.

There is rumor, mind you, this is racially motivated.

On Monday, racial slurs were written on the dormitory white boards outside the rooms of five teenaged black cadet candidates at the school — reading “go home n—-r,” according to the Air Force Times.

The hate messages prompted the school’s superintendent, Lt. Gen. Jay Silveria, to assemble the school’s more than 4,000 cadets and staff for a stern rebuke, the Guardian reported.

At 00:45 El Paso County Sheriffs said the scene was clear, no injuries and no active shooter found.

Rather curious. However, glad it was a false alarm and no injuries or loss of life.

They who bomb the world with impunity.

They will never be protested, demonstrated against, have their statues taken down, run out of money, have any of their actions questioned in The Main Stream Media.

They are blaming this incident on a nerf gun battle, but I wonder if this wasn't some unannounced 'drill' being executed:

www.military.com...
Reports of one, then three, then eight shooters emerged.
Across Facebook, stories emerged of cadets texting their parents, with some saying goodbye. ...
One Twitter account that claimed to be tied to a cadet squadron reported that the alleged shooters were dressed as police. .... A video posted to Twitter shows SWAT officers going through a dorm, with the tweet, "These are the shooters." Similar panics have been triggered at military bases before by training exercises
At the academy, where some were convinced that anyone in a police uniform could be a mass killer, panic proved hard to contain. "Suspects pretending to be (security forces)," a tweet from an account tied to the academy's Cadet Squadron 13 said. "Do not open doors."

Was this perhaps a final practice for the big event that happened just 48 hours later in Las Vegas?
