Well that's just dumb.

Vitamin c is a really important part of our diets and we get really sick without it, scurvy is the extreme end of that, but there is no doubt there are many benefits .

That's all , I took from your post that vitamin c was useless, and I disagree. I may have misunderstood your post, it wouldn't be the first time.

At no time have I said vitamin c is useless.

I have 1000mg tablets in the cupboard for when I get a cold.

What I did say, is that's it's not a cure. Not a cure for leukaemia, and it alone didn't save that guys life.

It's just not possible.

Ok my bad, its possible though that the vitamin c helped his body somehow fight it, not saying it did, just saying its possible it kick-started the bodies defense system somehow.

I will tell you one thing:

Vitamin C is useless against hangovers - I used it orally by itself, then with it mixed with other Vitamins and minerals orally, then did the whole she bang with an IV solution...nada.

Why do I know that? had to turn myself into an alcoholic temporarily many years ago to withdraw from methadone...the handovers were bad...very bad.

Vitamin C can be great for many things, however either be it orally or I.V, your body can only take in a certain amount of it, then the body makes it exit via your kidneys, and there are also some unpleasant side effects from taking massive dosages.
