I'd forgotten all about that quote.

Pro-free speech unless you say something we disagree with. Pro-freedom unless you do something we disagree with. Anti-police state except when certain citizens keep acting up. Pro-American flag except when we're waving the flag of the rebel nation that killed hundreds of thousands of Americans. Pro-religion but only if that religion involves standing for the national anthem then getting intoxicated at football games that have half naked cheerleaders prancing around on the sidelines.

Anything I'm missing?

What has free speech got to do with anything? Has anyone suggested that kneeling for the national anthem is illegal???
PLayers are free to kneel, but if there are consequences like boycotting games or firing them, how does that impinge on free speech?

I think you are confusing free speech with the right to do anything and say anything you want without consequences. I see that a lot.

Shh!!!!

Don't end the little party.

They need to feel like victims and say trump is taking away people's first amendment rights.

Geez I thought more of your point of view.

You honestly find this appropriate?

I hope you weren't one to complain about leftist manipulations.

Cause that would be pretty hypocritical no?

Do you think the president should condone or support specific consumer products and intervene in the market or should he single them out as bad to effect markets?

Surely this is beyond politics?

Not to mention the HORRORS of some Nazi losing their job because they got outed.

Problem is not just nazis but even free speech rallies.

Youtubers who have nothing to do with nazis have been doxxed and harassed in real life and made up lies of them being nazis fed to their employers.

Theyve even tried deplatforming youtubers like armored skeptic from events with blatant lies.

Basically anyone they disagree with is called a nazi and worthy of physical assault without provocation

Yes I remember all of your outrage when Obama was suggesting firing Imus.

Let me just dig up your posts on that....

Nah. Trump's just acting like a whiny butthurt SJW trying to get people fired because someone's beliefs triggered him.

(Did I get the accent right?)

Glad folks are picking up on it.

I am no leftist but I understand this was way out of bounds.

Sure it's an esculation of a trend but isn't this guy the superman outsider?

So you just assume I'm ok with Obama doing it? Nice.

The real question is, if you didn't like Obama doing it then why are you ok with Trump doing it?

A guy throwing punches left and right is taken away by security laughing and Trump wants to hit him, so?

So you admit to hypocrisy?

You understand to qualify your argument also proves your hypocrisy?

People sure were cheering him on though! That's what you get when you enter a right wing echo chamber though.

Well if you have been following my posts, here is what I have said.

I disagreed with kaeprnick but wasn't botered by the kneeling.

Despite my disagreement with what kap said, I support his actions of donating money to poor communities, which is more important than any words.

I respect the people that are outraged by the protests.

I do not think trump saying what he did hurts the protesters first amendment.

I do not think trump should have weighed in on this because there are far more pressing matters to address.

Having said that, I do not feel trumps tweet are a huge deal, or racist, etc.

Again, I said it was dumb of trump to do this.

I just disagree that it is taking away people's first amendment rights.

You must have missed the "or's" after the partisan part.

I am more concerned he doesn't understand the office's impact on economics when he speaks.

If we call out the left how can you condone these kind of things?

On the contrary.

I had no problem with obama weighing in on Imus.

According to the law he should be fired. Do you agree with that?
