Yes they do. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people say that if we just gut the military, or get rid of it completely then most of the problems in the world would go away.

I think what they're looking for is a multi role platform. One that can trabsport troops and then can lay down some serious close air support.

Kind of like how the Stryker has many variants.
