A Florida man pulls a gun on a motorist as people are in line and wait for gas. It really stinks that there is no sound and you can't hear what's being said. Hope you guys are packing.

Found the real story behind it

Theres some state hotlines people can call to report price gauging. Yesterday on the radio they reported one spot had 24 pack water bottles for $72!

the title made me think some guy pulled a gun on Irma to attempt to fend her off.
laughable, but the world we live in is rife with loons and goons capable of any and all actions.

In the Gunshine State, he's very lucky he didn't wind up with extra holes doing that.

Without context or audio it is impossible to know what was going on. Might have been a plain clothed or off duty officer.

My favorite part was when the "photographer" filmed his or her dashboard for half the clip.

Poor fella... judging by his fanny pack and overall apperance, he's a time traveler from the mid 90's. He's just scared!!

Play him some dial-up tones and 'All that she wants' music video by Ace of Base. He'll be ok, but it'll take some time.

Ps: someone please embed ace of base music vid.

Playa probably has some steel-toed mandals too.

Possibly the guy in the car rushed the man with the gun, meaning, he may have tapped the guy, or made some kind o0f an aggressive move to make the guy pull his gun. When you take the class for concealed or open carry you learn that IF someone makes you feel as though you life 'may be' in danger, you have every legal right to pull that weapon. It was a Mexican stand-off there, it appears to me that the guy in the car 'probably' waved to the guy as in, "O.K....oops". (I wasn't there of course) They guy holding the gun seemed to be placated enough to put his pistol away.

We have no idea what went down, but there are a LOT of people in Florida that carry, so if the guy in the car felt he was right it could've gotten worse.

Anyway, I'm just saying, just because a guy has a gun on someone (Here in the U.S. anyway) doesn't mean he was a nut-job, by all appearances he appeared to be doing what anyone would do when they felt as though they were threatened enough.

Never seen a cop carrying / pulling from a fanny pack. They use holsters, on or off duty.

Because it takes too long to open the zipper.

About gas line jitters, I was a pump jock during the Arab Oil Embargo in the 70s, I know how weird people can get about their full tank of gas. And that was peace time...

From the looks of it, it looks like the guy with the car is about to hit the person with the gun. IMO justfied to pull the weapon out.

You obviously know very little about law enforcemnet undercover carry then.

This is exactly why anecdotal experiences are weak evidence.

www.copsplus.com...

Concealed carry fanny packs & purses allow you to hide a firearm in plain sight. Although specialized, they provide covert law enforcement officers and civilians with a convenient way to transport a hidden weapon. Unlike inside-the-waistband holsters which rely on a belt, or shoulder holsters which have to be worn with a jacket, these purse holsters can be used at any time in any environment. The designs available range from rugged tactical waistpacks to premium-quality handbags that wouldn't look out of place on the catwalk. Our selection also features other concealed carry bag styles, including day planners and tablet cases. We sell designs from trusted manufacturers including Galco, Blackhawk and Voodoo Tactical.

WI on yahoo

"Since we all know how bad Yahoo is with actual reporting, here's the same story from a different source. NAPLES, Fla. - A fight at a gas station led to a man threatening an FWC officer with a gun in Naples. This happened on Tuesday at the Racetrac gas station off of Airport Pulling Road. Naples police said 18-year-old Andrew Cassin got in a fight with another man over position at the gas pumps. Cassin went back to his truck and pulled out a black handgun to intimidate the other man. The man then hit him to get away. An off-duty FWC officer saw the fight. He told the men he was law enforcement and came over to break it up. The officer walked Cassin back to his truck. Police said Cassin then reached inside the truck and flashed the pistol at the officer and asked him "what he was going to do." The officer backed away and called Naples Police. Cassin then fled in his truck, but returned only five minutes later. The gun ended up being an air pistol, not a real handgun. Firearms instructor Mike Abed said that doesn't make a difference. "If my life is in danger, and someone came with me, and it's a BB gun, but it looks like a real gun, I'm not going to second guess it. I'm just going to defend myself," said Abed. Cassin was arrested in Naples on Thursday after Police found marijuana in his car. He now faces numerous charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He's in jail on a $34,000 bond."
