Yes there is a system here for all mothers who have children. Rich or poor they get about 10 or 12 dollars per child to help them pay for food / clothes ect for the child. It was for all children but now they are changing it so that only 2 children get it. The Spare room thing is for tenants in public housing or council housing , which was a reward for fighting in the banksters wars. WW1 WW2. So that every one had a home fit to live in, now if there are more empty rooms than there are people then they are penalised financially or have to move to a smaller home. Regardless if you have lived there all your life. Often there are no smaller dwellings near you so its a case of having to uproot and move to another town or city. Which is a big thing for people who have family or friends living nearby.

The new civil list payment has for the last few years has merged all the money that used to come in from various sources into a single payment and a lot of it goes to maintenance of the royal palaces which if we had a royal family or not we'd still have to pay for them to kept standing.

Most of the money these days is for them to do the job that the state wants them to do, Queenie hates Buckingham palace so they say so she generally stays at her own estates unless its part of the job.

Sometimes I do feel sorry for her as its a job where really you never rest as theres always something happening that you need to be kept up to date with
