And, is it written somewhere that there is only one alternative right? Could not a dozen different alt right positions lean from left of right to right of right?

Well, I can show you what is written ...

www.altright.com

Not to mention, from earlier in the thread ...

The term's modern usage, however, is most commonly attributed to white nationalist and self-described "identitarian" Richard B. Spencer, president of the National Policy Institute and founder of Alternative Right.

So sure ... semantic arguments can be made ... "what is alternative?" "what is right"? "what is is" ... that reminds me of Bill Clinton, LOL.

Devil's Advocate: So there is only one 'alternative', eh? Sounds kind of limiting.

Nah, it sounds like a specious argument. It is a well-known fact that Richard Spencer first applied the term alt-right to the movement (website, philosophy, etc.) that he created and promotes. Someone else said the words "alternative right" together previously.

Spencer initiated the alt-right movement.

If Spencer were to call himself a Libertarian,

He doesn't.

The expression "alt-right == racist" is clearly a gross oversimplification of reality and a false logical statement.

Um...no it isn't. It's their stated goal and rebranding of white nationalsim and white supremacy. The fact that you don't believe it, along with many others means that the rebranding worked. You joined a movement with stated goals that you don't even know, or even care about. You're a rebel.

Congratulations, you've been duped. I've showed you the quotes direct from the founders. You choose to deny reality.

Almost half the nation voted for Trump

You mean half of the other half of people actually taking a vote.

That's a quarter.

Made what up? Where in the flip have you been or you are just using the muddy up the water tactic. Alt-right is a term that has morphed from a long line of such pejorative tool speech psyop bull crapola.

Hitler praised Stalin because Stalin was an authoritarian dictator that was killing everyone, that only ones that like Stalin, are Stalinist and Tankies and they can all get bashed.

Hitler used the term socialism to pander to a growing movement and gain power, 'National Socialism' is an authoritarian right version of 'socialism' as opposed to Libertarian Socialism

"Libertarian" means that the government stays out of people's business.

"Socialism" means that the government is literally in *everyone's* business.

The two cannot exist unless one of them is twisted to mean something it isn't.

As usual you cherry pick the info that you wish to push. Waste of time because you will argue even when you know that you are wrong to the point of embarrassment. But you would need an honorable sense of self worth to feel embarrassment.

And exactly as Teikiatsu said, that page describes a twisting of ideologies.

LOL...you're making up your own definition of a movement....I'd say that's everyone involved with the movement's reality.

But hey, you can't blame ignorance...I showed you quotes and writings from the leaders of the movement, and their ideals.

So if you choose to deny the reality of a situation, and you've been advised as to what that reality is...what does that make you?
