Trump threatens government shutdown over border wall funding

considering that some of his secret service agents are owed money now that probably won't be paid to them anytime soon....
any shutdown should come with the stipulaton that his and his family's travel is shut down also!!!

the 'wall' will be a fence in fancy disguise, with a few Strategically reinforced segments and a sprinkle of a 'virtual wall' on top, outsourced to the highest bidder.

paid for by a miracle budget squeeze slowly propagating down to the tax payers (all of us...) ... followed by partisanship msm bickering followed by a solution from every ats user... and away we spin.

I don't see why Trump doesn't simply fund the wall immediately out of his own pocket. He's a billionaire with more than enough wealth to construct the entire wall right now.

He can lobby the government for reimbursement afterwords.

What you have suggested here would be the most illegal thing he could possibly do. It would almost immediately end his Presidency. Come to think of it, great idea!

Well, Trump campaigned on building the wall and on the fact that Mexico would pay for it. Trump claimed last night that he campaigned and won because Americans want the wall, (they were told Mexico would pay for). So, I guess Trump believes his constituents "bought it".

But ironically, now Trump is threatening to shut down the government if Congress doesn't make American tax payers pay for the wall, and he's blaming the Democrats for breaking his promise to the American people. And the Trumpsters are buying it, hook line and sinker!

You can't make this stuff up!
