What happens to windows

I got windows but I havnt activated it yet,, does anybody know what happens when the activation period is over with? Will my computer shut itsself down or something ?

If I recall, it just wont boot into Windows.

But its been a while since Iv had it happen to me, I reinstalled and entered my Serial Code that came in the mail and all was good.

Now I have too many copies of XP to go around (all legal too).

But I believe you are correct, Windows will not boot. Or if it does, it's functionality is very limited(wait, it is like that anyway isn't it?)

Seriously, they are. Iv got about 6 XP Home OEMs, and about 7 XP Pro OEMs. All in their packaging, and the serial codes with them all.
