While I don't advocate any speech that singles people put over lifestyle choices, it's comedy, comedians job is to push the boundaries. It's important art for any free society.

But don't act like it's the same, we all have read the stories of the PC laws getting pushed up there.

Nyet.

The Military is there to aid CBSA.

They are setting up a temporary processing facility, and, yes, that includes accommodations for those awaiting processing, which is something CBSA does for all refugee claimants.

The Military is not there to enforce Canadian law, in any way, shape, or form, just to setup the temp facility. RCMP and CBSA will handle the law end.

Speech and who you will do business with are two different things.

If you want to operate a public business you shouldn't be able to deny service based off of creed, gender, lifestyle ect.

It would leave the door open for the last 50 miles to screw someone over.

Edit: you could however say after you provided services "that's an abomination" and face no legal recourse.

Yet, here you are, saying that it is a 'free speech' issue because it happened in Canada.

The employee denied service to the patron, in a public business. The employee and employer were found at fault...it really doesn't get anymore cut and dry than this. Heck, the tribunal even went above and beyond, obtaining witness statements that confirmed that the employee ended his show early just to discriminate against the patron, both inside and outside of the business.

The only reason 'free speech' is even associated with this case is because the defendants attempted to use that as the basis of their defense. The tribunal was smart enough to see through their BS.

If they are illegal here now can they even be deported back to the US?

It looks like someone is getting the math all wrong. The article says they're building tents to process up to 500 migrants (a.k.a. asylum seekers). The article later says that:

Officials estimate that 400 people crossed the border at the site on Sunday alone.

I wonder what the daily average is. More than 400? Half of that? What's it going to be like once word gets out that Canada is taking asylum seekers? I see a new shanty town springing up where most of these people are going to get stuck in. Think France migrant camps.

Another question, where do these people originate from and what does "processed" mean exactly?

Good luck Canada you'll need it. Wonder what you'll do with people who illegally came to the U.S. , then illegally came to Canada and then are found out to have rather extensive criminal backgrounds. It will be rich to see Canada deport them back to their homelands. I can see a lot of new Canadian "citizens" being denied entry to the U.S. You'd think people would learn from Sweden's experience, but no...........

Either way, they aren't there to stop these people from entering illegally. Sad for Canada, but not so much for us in the States!

Good luck to them.. Winters in Canada are brutal! Were talking ice age freeze your balls off kind of cold.

This angers me. My wife and I have been waiting a really long time to legally be together. Spending thousands of dollars and it's been almost 2 years that still isn't finished just to prove were a legit marriage.
I do not want economic migrants here and the fact they're coming from America makes this stink even worse .
