Wow. Im a Christian and all your points are waaaay off. And NO....Jesus NEVER CLAIMED HE WAS GOD.

Please..get back to your reading....youve missed much, and misinterpreted much of what you have read.

"My Kingdom is not of this world"-Jesus Christ...When accused of being God, Jesus replied "YOU say I am!"

Nice try....God bless......

Why do I get the feeling that we are being trolled here lol...? The OP sounds so way off base that it's wreaks of trolling...otherwise you are very new to the ATS audience.

Do you really think creation started in 5777 years ago? Come on. We got history man..and carbon dating... that's proof mate.

I can feel the hatred seething through your teeth as you type your response.

Where does that hatred come from?

Text

yes I am talking to you.

B.C. Before Christ recently trying to be changed to Before the Common Era... but FAILING.

Not Before Caesar. What a hardy laugh. You can pretend to follow any calendar you want, but when you join the rest of the WORLD... guess what you have to play ball.

The year is 2017.

"I can feel the hatred seething through your teeth"
are you emperor Palpatine? This is not the Political Mud Pit.

FFS...SMH..
Was jesus god himself? Was Jesus the son of god? Was Jesus a piece of god? Or a man with a message?
As an agnostic athiest whatever... meh.
Seem to remember another member a bit ago posing "This Exact Argument" or "Proof" if you will.
That thread was by a member whom did everything they could to get a rise out of current good members.

Are you here for a decent discussion?
Or as the rest of your postings trying to anger the masses.🤗
I want to believe 🙄

4 pages and still no "Absolute Proof Jesus Christ is God".

I think it should have been "My 4 personal reasons why I think Jesus is God". Cones of less arrogant and personal beliefs don't need proof.

Bleh. Second thread is the same as the first one

I'd hoped for a bit of variety to be honest, and hopefully a few good gags. Pah.

And now... absolute proof Jesus is NOT God... according to the gospels

Jesus being God only comes from the trinity doctrine... meaning Jesus is EQUAL to God

Jesus disagrees...

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.

Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I

Greater then can not be equal to...

End Thread

Umm.... I don't think you understand what "absolute proof" entails. You've waved a bunch of USG around and called it proof.

How can someone made human and in human form be compared of that of the maker? And to bend your noodle when that maker is themselves? If I could make myself less than what I am do I compare myself to myself equally?

2017 for the world?

Jewish - 5777

Chinese - 4715

Islamic - 1438

Assyrian - 6767

Buddhist - 2561

Iranian / Persian - 1395

Korean - 4350

Thai - 2560

Tibetan - 1762

But I'm sure someone as well versed in what EVERYONE in the world knows and does would already know this.

Well, the son is not the Father according to said book

So that comparison wouldn't be necessary anyways

The quote you gave describes what's sometimes called The Book of Dzyan. Madame Blavatsky wrote her entire "Secret Doctrine" based on this concept.

If you're familiar with Blavatsky and theosophy, does Yarker's book differ on her stated views? I'm gonna check out the book regardless, but I'd like to know the approach.

The book is peppered with her musings and cites a few passages that have been translated by her, but is more or less an amalgamation of all "secret doctrines" from every society, in an attempt to explain to the reader the history of humanity itself. Regarding the Book of Dzyan, you'll find closure in learning that a Class "A" Publication of the A∴A∴, LIBER XXVII (Trigrams of the Mutations of the TAO), is an account of the "cosmic process" in accordance with the Stanzas of Dzyan.

Contribute to the thread in my signature and claim your reward!!

You'll appreciate it.

Suppose it was another culture, let's say the Aztecs just for example, who conquered many territories. They impose their Aztec calendar on their newly conquered territories and if they had lasting influence over many centuries, we would likely still be using their calendar today.
Then you would instead be saying today that some Aztec deity was the real God because this deity marked the beginning of our calendar.

The Gregorian calendar which is used today is a modification of the Roman calendar, used by the Roman empire.
So your point is not strong enough, it just proves that the Roman empire conquered many territories.

John 10:30 (Aramaic Scripture) "I and my Father are one"
Sounds like he did in fact claim to be God.
Not only that but in Hebrews 1:8 God himself calls Jesus God.
Check it out for yourself.

Hey Reya---just jumping in a minute...he's trolling and having some fun with this. Not very Christ-like don't you think? Just let him go.....

Whereas we know the truth to us...he mocks our and his own, Savior. Yes...even if youre not Christian, doesnt matter WHO anyone's "GOD" is/are...its the way, means and methods he posts that will force him to stay under the bridge where trolls go...

Even then...I apologize for that remark...un-Christian like of me to contribute in a negative way. But his flippant attitude and frequent (LOL's) he throws...is telling.

Thanks ReyaP.....Peace to you n yours!

John 10:30 (Aramaic Scripture) "I and my Father are one"

One essence... not once and the same...

When two people are married they become one... Do they suddenly become the same person?

there isn't a single word in "Hebrews" that came from Jesus... said book is strictly the words of the author

SO... no he didn't claim to be God

and in fact HE said that he has a God

God doesn't have his own God

If you seek, you will find.
Contrary to popular belief, the original scriptures we're not written in Hebrew but in cuneiform manuscripts dicsovered in Mesopotamia in the late 19th century.
The Ancient Aramaic scriptures were then translated directly from these. Please do some research and don't just go with what is popular.
Hebrew was not the first translation of the scriptures.

i was talking about the book of hebrews you mentioned...

not the language

And by the way, this isn't what is popular... the trinity is the doctrine that 90% of Christianity believes in

You can spin it any way you like.
But Jesus compared himself to his Father many times and " in essence'" did claim to be God.

If you have been a Christian for any amount of time you will learn very quickly that Jesus is in fact God in the flesh. He is the Milta or manifestation of God...is God.
