"russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross section of our assets. we see a lot of money pouring in from russia." -trump jr.

and yet trump sr. keeps insisting the only connection to russia is the Miss Universe pageant hosted there once? come on. it's people like you that voted for him. blinded by fame and bluster. anybody can say anything. it's what they actually MEAN that is what counts.

What no "Sources" ?

Clever indeed.

maybe someone's already posted this and I missed it somehow.
but this is the original article that the video is referring to..

newrepublic.com...

people should read the article before making comments.
a short little video doesn't do the article justice.

Journalists are starting to uncover serious connections between Trump and organised Russian crime, now do you not see this as a problem for the sitting president

He was a global real estate investor, and had really sketchy businesses like "Trump University", and "Trump Steaks", and more.

He's likely to have organized crime connections all around the world.
Why are they insisting on so much focus on Russia? I watch American news, American news is all over Canadian news too - the media likes to mention the "many enemies of the USA".
The focus is on Russia, because they want Russia to be the scariest enemy....

Maybe they (media, people, etc), should have paid more attention to this man's background before they let him run for president....

Muellers investigation is all connected my dear. He is not off track.
I bet Manifort and Flynn had a hand in steering this investigation in the direction it's going.
Besides isn't the prime directive to follow the money?

some did...
other's, enough to get him into office it seems,
were more concerned about immigrants taking their jobs and raping their wives, muslims slapping us under sharia laws, schools magically turning their children into homos, women killing their unborn babies, and above all else...
HILLARY....
her health,
her emails,
and on and on....
they didn't care about the guy they were voting in, as long as his last name wasn't clinton!

Just ignore it, if it paints trump and his administration in a negative light it must be FAKE NEWS!! *Sarcasm*

Hell, literally anything trump and his supporters don't want to hear or see, is fake news!

This investigation is not a witch hunt, the only ones calling it that are trump and his supporters.

Here is Fox News Shepard Smith, calling trump out again, and the media did not lie.

Yes, non-issues. Do the investigation, STFU, let us know what you find. I know what you actually want is a trial and conviction in the court of public opinion whether he is guilty or not, but sorry, I will never back that.

Sorry, already debunked your quote. Took me all of 5 seconds to do so.

He was speaking about Russian real estate to a Russian newspaper while trying to bring the Brand to Russia. It's called fluffing. The quote is meaningless once context is added.

Tax-payer funded fishing expedition confirmed.

You haven't looked have you?
Bayrock, Trump SoHo, Kushner, The Netherlands, Trump Tower, the Chinese Bank, Kazakhstan, Keystone pipeline, Israel, Khrapunov, Hermitage, Fusion, Ukraine RICO civil suits.....information made public because of latter, Deutsche Bank, 'money loans' money laundering............on and on, and on, and that's only stuff I have mentioned over the last year!

I should say that much of the news never escaped the business news sites, if it did escape conspiracy sites.

www.ft.com...
uk.businessinsider.com...
www.politico.com...
dutchreview.com...

Do you think for one minute that even the mainstream media don't have all this...and more, that they are reluctant to even mention yet?

I saw a lot of words, nothing about Trump colluding with Russia in the election in any illegal way.

That's only an assumption based on your interpretation of the context.

What Trump Jr said, he said. No amount of twisting it around changes what his statement meant. As the article connected to the video in the OP shows, if it wasn't for the Russian mob and their investments, Trump would have been sunk in the 1990's.

To say Russian money makes up a disproportionate cross-section of their assets is putting it lightly, given the decades of financial support Trump has received from Russian oligarchs and the mob. Which I would like to add, are basically part of the Russian government.

The context itself does not change. I have no interpretation. I put it into context and once I did the statement became meaningless.

It meant nothing. If you have actual evidence and not a sales pitch let me know. By the way I have a car I am selling, runs great, like new. I said it .. so I guess you should buy it ...

The quote by Trump Jr is:

Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets. We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.”

So, when Trump Jr said they see a lot of money pouring in from Russia, he didn't mean they see a lot of money pouring in from Russia?

Even though financial records show Russian money has been pouring into the Trump organization for years?

I was waiting for that subtle piece of sophistry to rear its head. Now the Russian mob is a part of the Russian government. This is the result of the insinuation that every Russian is a part of the Russian government, a Russian spy, a russian oligarch. A lie, of course.
