Okay, I'll put my thinking cap on to see what I can come up with as in IAH area are a couple of golf courses and several sites of "adult"
entertainment.
Otherwise, I would recommend the Kemah Boardwalk. for a variety of restaurants, live music, and family friendly entertainment. This is close to the
NASA Johnson Space Center as well. The down side is that the drive would take over one hour and the taxi rate would be at least $120 each way.
Below is a list of things to do near IAH
National Museum of Funeral History
Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens
Old Town Spring - lots of shopping for antiques and crafts
AMC Loews Spring 10 - movie theatre
Cypress Trails - horse riding.
Old MacDonald's Farm - yes it a real animal farm
Big Texas Dance Hall & Saloon
Rusty Wallace Racing Experience
There is a variety of bars and restaurants in the area as well. I'd be happy to get you more information on the above if needed. Welcome to Houston.
