I have a nephew that I love very much, who happens to be a homosexual. If you spent a whole day speaking with him, you would never know he was
homosexual, unless you asked him. He has a mate that is also homosexual and again if you spent the day with him, you would not know that he is
homosexual, unless you asked him. They are not in the closet, and if they are together it is crystal clear they are a couple, yet they don't make it
the center of everyone's attention.
They are frequently asked, "why don't you guys act gay?" Their answers is usually very respectful, but it usually boils down to the fact that the
perception that all gay people act the same, is the same as expecting all straight people, Black, or White, people to act the same.
They say the way a person acts is a reflection of what that person wants to say about themselves, and that they aren't special so they have nothing
special to say.
Did I mention that I love my nephew?
