Citizenship guide overhaul has many Canadians concerned.

It seems the liberals have done an over haul on Canada's citizenship guide.

The Liberal government’s reported changes to Canada’s citizenship guide appear to be yet another instance of politically correct, feel good signalling winning over pragmatic public policy.

Meanwhile, the Liberals have taken out the section explaining that “barbaric cultural practices” such as honour killings and female genital mutilation are not accepted in Canada.

Exactly what are we telling new citizens in Canada by taking this last exceprt out of the citizenship guide ?

New citizens need to be made aware of what will not be tolerated in Canada and I fear by removing some of what was in the guide they will use the excuse that they were unaware .

Trudeau and his train need to leave the station and not bother returning.

Does the Liberal Government commend genital mutilation and honour killings then?

If not, then why take out that section?
