Yeah, I was lucky enough to have been stationed in Germany when the 1st Infantry Division was there, and I got to snowboard and ski the Austrian Alps.
I never did get over to Switzerland, though--the stars just never aligned. Such a beautiful area out there, it's a shame that stuff like this taints
the beauty. Luckily, it's not very common (that I know of).
Yeah--regardless, I do feel a bit sorry for the fella, even though I say that I have no sympathy, because those are definitely the empty eyes of a
lost soul, but like I say, the end result is what matters at this point, and that's where my sympathy ends and anger and lack of patience begins.
Not common at all, I'd think; pretty much buttoned down society of hard working people.
Only real problem with Switzerland I know of (my daughter lived there for a couple of years) is that man, its a very expensive place to travel and
visit and enjoy. Very expensive.
