Summary

Leads planning and coordination of activities related to NASA mission planetary protection needs.

Leads independent evaluation of, and provides advice regarding, compliance by robotic and human spaceflight missions with NASA planetary protection policies, statutory requirements and international obligations.

Advises the Chief, SMA and other officials regarding the merit and implications of programmatic decisions involving risks to planetary protection objectives.

In coordination with relevant offices, leads interactions with COSPAR, National Academies, and advisory committees on planetary protection matters.

Of course there is life off of the third rock from the sun. Visit the Hawaii Big Island, and take the tour bus up to the top of mauna kea at night. Take a heavy sweater. And gaze upon the stars. I attended a vo-tech when I was growing up. Our teacher used to work at NASA during the moon landings. He was a mission specialist. One day just before Christmas break, we had a party where we made some "punch". He had a couple of drinks. One of my friends asked him about his time at NASA, and what was it like to work there, and he suddenly became extremely serious. This was 1000% uncharacteristic of him, he was usually a rather jovial person.

"Look, we were not the first intelligent beings to visit the moon. I know. I saw the evidence with my own eyes. They (we thought he meant NASA) have millions of photos and videos proving it. Those will most likely never see the light of day."

I sat there absolutely stunned. We paid more attention to him after that.

He's dead now, but he then started telling us about how they had to learn what angles they could take pics at to make sure they didn't catch anything they didn't want the public to see. He also detailed that ships would follow our spacecraft as they traveled to and from the moon. Every single trip.

We simply can't be alone, we are just not being told the truth. To quote a show, "We can't handle the truth"... It would destroy organized religion as we know it, and they are far too powerful at the moment, plus like I said, the actual public reaction would be so large that no government could stop the riots.

I guess I shouldn't have put "organized" which may imply separate organizations such as the Catholic and Protestant Church's,

However, Dying for our sins is an organized belief held by Christians, Christianity as a religion has sub sects in which Catholics and Protestants fall under.
