he's a very clever guy, i think what he dose is basically hypnotise or put the people in to a trance and then puts suggestions in to their mind to make the out come of the 'experiment' end up as he wants it to.

For some that may be true. However, what he does are not parlor tricks. I am never impressed with magicians for the smoke and mirrors. However, when he threw the cards against the restaurant window and the one picked ended up stuck from the inside that got my attention. Also, the middle aged woman's look of shock from inside the restaurant was priceless. There may be more to this guy than people give him credit for. Have you ever seen his "street magic" special? Explain the card in the little girls pocket.

Think about this. He could make much more money than he does with his "tricks". However, he doesn't. Why?

Blaine v Brown

Not sure these two can be compared.

When I first saw Blaines "Street Magic" show, some years ago, I have to admit to being mightly impressed. I hadn't seen such trikery performed in front people on the streets before. I have to admit to not knowing how he acheives some of his illusions, which is where I remain impressed. However, I have watched a programme since then which debunked a fair few of his tricks, including the levitation illusion, which I was very disappointed to see, involved cameras. Now if your watching street magic on TV, I certainly don't expect cameras to assist the Trickster.

Derren Brown, is a very different illusionist. He is willing to show how many of his tricks are acheived, but still keep you gob smacked as to how exactly he does the others.

He is highly intuitive, and a master of body language, manipulation and minute nuances. Some of what he does relies on the gulabilty of his victims, sorry I mean't audience.

His taking on of the Chess masters was a classic, but still a trick, just not any easy one to perform.

He has yet to disappoint me.
