I've got some poems

I'd rub myself into the ground
I'd hurt myself and make no sound
Just so when I come back up
The relief I felt was just enough
To keep me going
To stay afloat
Nobody knew me
Inside this moat
I'd wear a shell
But live this hell
Why did I do this
I cannot tell

My young self
It's such a shame
How he made me
Created pain
I never needed to live like this
I could have been in complete bliss
Instead I'm now dealing with this

I don't hate me
I hate him
For what he put me through
For how he grew
It's such a shame
A wasted game
I wish that I could play again
Different moves
Better choices
Roll the dice
Play my aces
If I could just play again
I'd take my chances
I'd make amends.



Firstly I'll ask the mods to put this where it needs to be as I see no topic for members writing

Secondly I'll ask members to critique my writing if you want and let me know if you want to see some of the others I've written.

I wrote a few poems through a hard and challenging time filled with happiness and sadness.

I'm looking for inspiration to start writing again.
