So, now the peace loving and "good one"(right now only the former USA itself thinks it is still good)former USA shot down a syrian drone.
If WWIII breaks loose openly, i hope this time the war happens on the soil of the terrorists that terrorize the world for their own profits.

It´s about time, they destroyed many nations, countries, whole regions on earth, that they get what they beg for. Another war, but this time please on your own soil. So that you have to experience how a real war, at home, feels. Maybe then you will become a "good one" again, after that, "demcracy" bombing and terror spreading former USA!

The Shahab -3 missiles that hit targets in Deir ez-Zor is the original catalyst.
Then the removal of 16 field commanders in southern Syria in return.
The intent to move large amounts of heavy armor into southern Syria was the final straw.

Any aircraft, including planes and drones belonging to the international coalition operating west of the Euphrates River

Thus saith the Lord to my anointed Cyrus, whose right hand I have taken hold of, to subdue nations before his face, and to turn the backs of kings, and to open the doors before him, and the gates shall not be shut.

Isaiah 45:1

The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried ... the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.

Trump is not micro-managing the Syrian situation. He is leaving it to his advisers and generals to conduct operations there.

Anybody who consider that the 'rebels' may be a democratic alternative to Assad is likely brainwashed by MSM propaganda.

Local neutral witnesses have a totally different point of view :

Interview with Flemish priest in Syria: "Putin and Assad saved my life"

"The idea that a popular uprising took place against President Assad is completely false. I've been in Qara since 2010 and I have seen with my own eyes how agitators from outside Syria organized protests against the government and recruited young people. That was filmed and aired by Al Jazeera to give the impression that a rebellion was taking place. Murders were committed by foreign terrorists, against the Sunni and Christian communities, in an effort to sow religious and ethnic discord among the Syrian people. While in my experience, the Syrian people were actually very united.

And an older - similar - one :

An Eyewitness to the Syrian Rebellion: Father Frans in His Own Words

An examination of texts published by Father Frans van der Lugt in 2011 and 2012 shows that the late Dutch Jesuit priest had a dim view of the Syrian rebellion, which he held to be the work of a violent minority, and favored a process of political reform in Syria to be implemented by the current government under President Bashar Al-Assad.

Father Frans was murdered under still unclarified circumstances in the embattled Syrian city of Homs earlier this month.(April 2014)

...

From the start, the protest movements were not purely peaceful. From the start I saw armed demonstrators marching along in the protests, who began to shoot at the police first. Very often the violence of the security forces has been a reaction to the brutal violence of the armed rebels.

...

Moreover, from the start there has been the problem of the armed groups, which are also part of the opposition….The opposition of the street is much stronger than any other opposition. And this opposition is armed and frequently employs brutality and violence, only in order then to blame the government. Many representatives of the government (regeringsmensen – Father Frans might also be referring to supporters of the government) have been tortured and shot dead by them.

...

In the first place, it has to be said that it is very difficult to provide a nuanced and objective account of what is happening. Many journalists fall into describing matters in black and white. For them, good and evil are not interwoven, but are clearly separated. They demonize the one side and glorify the other. Thus, for example, it is not true that our (the Syrian) government has only bad sides and the opposition only good ones. But because the US, Europe and certain Arab countries support the opposition, they endeavor, whether consciously or unconsciously, to idealize it as much as possible, without engaging in any careful analysis of the real situation. Certain interests are obscuring our view of the real situation and contaminating the description of it.

And the 'humanitarian' White Helmets - celebrated in Hollywood for their manequin chalenge performances - are now being filmed beheading Syrian soldiers in Daraa : Twitter (graphic video).

There's no indication visible that the situation in Syria is going to escalate. Moreover recent days' claims of the presence of american bases in northern Syria are just unfounded rumors.

Any attempt of the US or the EU against the integrity of the state of Syria will be responded immediatele, symmetrically, asymmetrically with nuclear weapons against the forces deployed in the area.

Any attempt to establish such bases as shown in recent days amounts to violation of territorial integrity. We haven't seen that yet happen, and quite frankly this sounds like an attempt to provoke massive US military casualties to impeach Trump.

There has been a media misreport about the presence of "US Military bases" in Syria. Those media were referring to are not something a military man would call a base. Those are more like "a US conspicuous group of military personnel sharing housing and other facilities with the local population". That's were the confusion came from. The west insists in calling these people "kurds" to attempt to drive a wedge among Syrian people, similarly to the way it was done in Iraq long ago.

We dont need Syria. Lets bomb the hell outta ISIS and GTFO already. Or just gtfo. Russia and Assad will take care of ISIS if we get out of the way. And stop sending those pricks weapons.

This. The US really isn't doing much to fight ISIS anyway. The Kurds and the Iraqis have done all the heavy lifting against ISIS from the beginning. Once Raqqa falls, there is no reason the US needs to stick around.

Syria and Russia seem to be cleaning things up, and if the US is really interesting in stabilizing Syria, the best thing we can do is to GTFO.
