My List of Favorite Forgotten and Rarely Heard Tunes For Guitar Lovers

Just thought I'd share some of my favorites and I look forward to what you guys bring to the party.

I'm just so sick of hearing the same songs over and over again on the radio, so surprise me with something unique or old school that shouldn't be forgotten... please.




Oh and a tip before you post:

If you have several songs in mind, it's better to put them all in one post to help the page load faster and save the owners some money.

This is a local guitarist rising to the top. You may not want to listen to all 20 minutes.. but at least listen for a few.. it's worth it

Jordon Cook


Another locally grown artist who is a master at the guitar.. Tim Vaughan. Watching Jordon and Tim jam together at Bud's on Broadway's saturday afternoon jams , in Saskatoon ,was always a delight for the audience


You need to hear Tim do the solo in his rendition.

Just about anything by Florian Opahle. Very underrated. I first saw him when he played some live shows with Greg Lake (ELP frontman) and was an instant fan.

If you like blues based rock and don't know who Joe is, you should. That whole CD will get you through friday afternoon rush hour traffic in Phoenix just fine.

Hmmmmm...from the days we walked 5 miles to school, uphill, barefoot...in the snow...and these guys didn't have an internet to help them learn...

Thank you for posting... he's awesome ! I have a new favorite artist. Going to go scout out some of his other songs.
