Trouble Brewing in Kensington

A group of protesters have stormed Kensington and Chelsea Town Hall during a peaceful protest outside the building from people effected by the Grenfell Tower fire , the demonstrators are demanding answers from the council in regard to alternative housing for those who lost theirs and the general lack of help they feel they've received.

What started as a group of 50 to 60 demonstrators is swelling as others join , current estimate is around 300 now , police are monitoring the situation and have moved to protect the council offices but hopefully this won't descend into a situation that nobody needs at this time as people with an agenda of their own join in.

Community leaders are on scene and trying to get the crowd to disperse but it's looking like it could be a long night.

Hope this is peaceful but I guess there is an undercurrent of rage everywhere. One little spark is all it will take. Where is it coming from (from a world-wide perspective)??

Discontentment of the have nots with the attitude of the haves I think , the only people to suffer through the downturn was us , the have nots while those with the money continued grabbing the money.

In this case Kensington and Chelsea is a very well off part of London and the council no doubt reflects that , perhaps the council haven't given their best efforts to the people who are now the have nothings.

Can't these people be put up in Chelsea Football club's ground or something? Get some temporary structures on the field. There is no football on as the season is over.
Move them into housing as and when it is available, but no private owner of a property should be forced to have their property used as Corbyn has suggested - under any circumstances.

If those private property owners do not reach out and freely offer succour to the broken hearted made homeless and destitute, then a pox upon them and their investments.
