She describes the horrors of what happens to your country when it becomes radicalized under the banner of Islam.

Brigitte Gabriel was born in the Marjeyoun District of Lebanon to a Maronite Christian couple, a first and only child after over twenty years of marriage.[4] She recalls that during the Lebanese Civil War, Islamic militants launched an assault on a Lebanese military base near her family's house and destroyed her home. Gabriel, who was ten years old at the time, was injured by shrapnel in the attack.[2][5] She says that she and her parents were forced to live underground in all that remained, an 8-by-10-foot (2.4 by 3.0 m) bomb shelter for seven years, with only a small kerosene heater, no sanitary systems, no electricity or running water, and little food.[6] She says she had to crawl in a roadside ditch to a spring for water to evade Muslim snipers.[6][7][8]

She says her city was the Paris of the Middle East and everything was good until suddenly at age 10 Lebanon was torn apart by a holy war.

I was amazed that the Israelis were providing medical treatment to Palestinian and Muslim gunmen...These Palestinians and Muslims were sworn, mortal enemies, dedicated to the destruction of Israel and the slaughter of Jews. Yet, Israeli doctors and nurses worked feverishly to save their lives. Each patient was treated solely according to the nature of his or her injury. The doctor treated my mother before he treated an Israeli soldier lying next to her because her injury was more severe than his. The Israelis did not see religion, political affiliation, or nationality. They saw only people in need, and they helped.[6][14][15]

Interestingly enough she speaks very highly of the Isreali's helping them. I personally know Middle Eastern Christians who fled Iraq around the same time period for the same reasons. Great hospitable people, they have unique cultural core values and closer family bonds. When examining the way that my friends live and interact with the community and accounts from people like this woman it's very hard to wrap your ahead around what's going on in the ME. The stories I hear from Marines and from what I know of these people are puzzles...

Operation Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, etc. We have been destroying the region for 20+ years now, that is how such extremes have manifest.

Very poor grasp of history. Desert Storm was about stopping an aggressor invading his neighbor, instead of just sitting back and saying "don't do that again" because that worked so well last time.

The evidence against her account in that article literally amounts to: "the civil war was complex" - "although radical muslims played a major role in the conflict, a lot of the insurgents were also socialists".

In the interview she clearly says the war started after christians became the minority. She was born when it was still the majority, and the war broke out a few years after she was born... this shows how quickly they took to arms when the numbers were on their side

A warning for every western nation. Especially Sweden which many say will be the first to fall... Civil war is coming! Unless we stop Muslim immigration and Ban Islam. Hopefully they will get the message and leave our countries peacefully. Otherwise anyone who believes in Sharia should be deported. These people don't believe in human rights anyway... if we allow them to become the majority they will turn our countries into oppressive theocracies and replace our laws with sharia... or try very hard to.. which will inevitably lead to civil war... we have to stop this. the time to act is right now, wake up europe!
