I just realized I have not heard any news of the NK conflict lately. My search popped up the latest news was six days ago. Its about the Japanese-US drill on the see of Japan.

www.independent.co.uk... e-a7767516.html

There is a lot going on in the US around the President, also a lot of terrorist attacks worldwide. What happened with North Korea? It seemed to be ready to blow. Why such a sudden silence from that area?

Should we get ready for something big coming on the side while we are looking at a big world theater?

I hope not and this is not a complaint, more like an honest question.

Edit: Link is 404 but its not really relevant anyway

Kim Jung-Butt Head shot all of his missiles into the sea of Japan. He is waiting for the next shipment of missiles to arrive.

I guess the MSM moved on trying to find something juicier to exploit for a while. MSM is actually altering our reality with all their deception, like a magician fooling onlookers. I guess I have been watching too many old Merlin shows lately.

Reality is constantly being altered by people of influence. Just because we cannot see it does not mean it is not happening, it only means most people are blind.

Negotiations are ongoing I imagine.

Nobody truly wants war in Korea and North Korea's WMDs have always been a negotiating card from the beginning.

The Trump administration seems to have figured out diplomacy is the way to deal with tension in Korea faster than the Bush or Obama administrations, so kudos there I guess.

News is a business, people want to see blood and death. The problem hasn't gone away but nobody was dying so people got bored.

Just the human condition.

Plus the new leader in South Korea isn't a crazy warmonger.

Big mouth fat boy being quite is not as surprising for me as the silence from the big powers. But maybe they really found a diplomatic solution. That would be something new...

China probably shortened his leash . Be good though if they do find diplomatic solution as if it did kick off it right on my backporch over here .

I think it is fair to be concerned. I believe new sanctions have been imposed that might affect NK's financing of their nuclear weapons development well, that's the idea anyway.
Tubby was photographed enjoying war games and showing off their military might, laughing and clapping gleefully all while condemning the US (Trump's) decision to pull out of the Paris Agreement.
I don't think it's unreasonable to be alert; however, there's not much that we can do. Unfortunately.

It was just media hype. No one believed WW3 was going to happen with NK. But the media pushed it and made it a story. Now it's long forgotten, just like soon the Russia narrative and the Comey stuff will soon be gone. Then the media will push the next fake news story to get the low IQ people all fired up.

They are drip-feeding us whatever "conflict" is the most conducive to their agenda at any given time.

When one conflict runs out of steam they create a new one or switch back to a previous one. Gotta keep the masses complacent with their daily dose of drama, people start jonesing when there's nothing to be outraged about.

Haven't paid any attention to it. I can hear our unofficial state media drumming up fear for its own sake from miles away, and am happy to say I've managed to avoid their manipulative bulls# almost entirely.

The less "news" you consume, the healthier and happier you will be.

We see what the whole transgender/bathroom issue accomplished, absolutely nothing. Nothing changed but the media harped on about it for weeks and weeks and the people ate it up, including this forum.

That's the way this whole Russian thing is going to go, nowhere. Just another piece of drama to keep people distracted and arguing. That's how the media works, hype an issue and then drop it even when no resolution is reached then start the hype for another piece of drama.

Like you said, the less news you consume the happier and healthier you become. Stress is bad for you and consuming the constant bad news is unhealthy.

I find it ironic how addicted some people are to the news and media even though they claim they don't trust it.

Like certain members on these boards, they harp on about how corrupt and untrustworthy the news is yet they stay glued to the TV/monitor waiting on what they will say/do next.

Outrage and anger release adrenaline and those who focus on the media are adrenaline junkies, they're addicted to outrage and the media gives them their shot of it every day.

Heard last night both the Vinson and Reagan have been "pulled" from the South China seas and are now heading to their respective home ports. Do not know if true, but both sources, Russian, use Japanese radio broadcasts as the information...

Reagan and Vinson Leave

The Nimitz is scheduled to participate in joint war games in the Indian Ocean with the Indian Navy. Sources at the Pentagon also say the Nimitz will monitor the situation in North Korea.

Nothing to see here, folks, move along...

I'm sure that general Mattis wasn't there couple days ago for no reason. Such a move suggests to me that conflict is imminent. But they have to be careful because NK is nuclear power after all. Recently I read great article how NK can cause EMP nuclear attack over northeastern US. Something like like that would be far more devastating than classic missile with nuclear warhead attack. All those things have to be taken in consideratinon.
