Wow, this competition has ramped up today! I do have to say, its really interesting to see so much participation here. It's amazing! And yes, I'm bumping this, I have to._. This is brutal!

Someone explain what 'writer status' is?

Hey D8Tee, writer status is given to members whom contribute to forums such as the "short stories" forum. It's awarded to members whom participate in writing activities. It replaces the "member" status with "writer". There are also fighter and scholar statuses which have nothing to do with writing.

This thread is relating to a writing competition. "CRE2017" in which the three top members awarded the most flags and stars will receive writer status as a reward. In this case participating 'writers' receive applause and bragging rights for winning whereas the non writers are competing for writer status and applause, as well as bragging rights.

I hope this helps clear it up a bit!
