I haven't Googled Kathy Griffin to find out, but I would 99.9999% bet she is not and never has been a mother. If she was, that would be the first thing she would have thought about....how seeing such a horrible thing would affect the child of our president.

Two words: "unnamed sources".

You guys are letting it slide this time but any other time you'd be calling it fake news based on that fact alone. No one is saying Barron deserves to cry or be psychologically scarred, we're just questioning the validity of these unnamed sources much like you guys do in any other thread that includes them.

Two words: President Trump
www.newsweek.com...

Kathy Griffin should be ashamed of herself. My children, especially my 11 year old son, Barron, are having a hard time with this. Sick!

Straight from the horse's mouth and good enough for me. But please, continue the exercise of self immolating defensive scrambling.

Jeeze! I hate to sound like a broken record, but where was your outrage over the Obama children's perceptions?

I never had the chance. I've been too busy defending free speech and pointing out hypocrisy.

Yes, you did. From your first reply, you had every opportunity to say anything and everything that you chose to say. It was never an either/or situation.

Thus far you have chosen not to do so, but you still have that choice. Choose wisely.

The way she went after Sarah Palin's kids...I'm shocked that anyone is shocked by this. She's always been a horrible woman.

What did Trump think the Obama girls were going through when he was on his birther, Obama isn't an American, tirade?

Trump family sources tell us Barron was in front of the TV watching a show when the news came on and he saw the bloody, beheaded image. We're told he panicked and screamed, "Mommy, Mommy!"

I don't believe that for one second! Has Barron never played a video game, seem a gory movie or attended a Halloween Haunted House?

I agree that what Kathy Griffin did was in bad taste, but, Melainia's hyperboleic reaction is ridiculous!

I would imagine it is quite different seeing a likeness of a family members severed bloody head on national TV than shooting zombies in a video game.

But keep on apologizing....

Doesn't matter. I don't believe that the kid thought it was real, any more than he thinks his video games are real. But you just keep up that moral outrage. Hypocrisy fits you like a glove!

Hypocrisy? That would be adults doing things like this while at the same time needing a safe space because the don't feel understood and then expecting a child to understand it was just a publicity stunt about beheading his father.

The PC crowd should be up in arms over this.....that is hypocrisy.

Guess it's all a part of the push for acceptance of Islamic extremism in the US. Guess who is gonna die first....

That is an understatement. I have another few words for what kind of woman she is.

I've asked you this question more than once. Where was your outrage when they showed W's head on a spike? You keep deflecting to Obama. He wasn't the first president to receive this kind of treatment. Were you outraged every single time this happened to a president? Or only Obama?

You just compared personal verbal attacks to a mock decapitation in a world where Islamofascists are actively beheading people daily...

Like I said, SAVE THIS THREAD. It will make it abundantly clear *why* the 2018 and 2020 elections in the USA will see the moderate and independent voter bases resoundingly vote against the Democratic candidates.

I can tell you what their answer was back then: "too bad, so sad, blame the parents for getting into politics, need to grow a thicker skin, up to their parents to teach them to deal with it, etc.".

This is not a free speech issue. Sure, she has the right to do it but she has to be willing to suffer the consequences. In other words, people like CNN have the right to punish her and people have the right to not go to her performances to punish her for this act.

Free speech comes into question only when the government gets in it and they try to punish her, then we have to do the distasteful job of defending this.

So in your, and others, strange little world this somehow excuses it?

Not sure how much clearer it can be but this: No, it god-damned well doesn't!

Selective outrage? The act of lynching a black man, whether real or in effigy is a morally repugnant act by socially challenged individuals who deserve to be, at the least, smacked upside the head with a cluestick about the size of a Louisville Slugger. So, too, does the talentless z-list entertainer who thought it was a good idea to visit that idea. Or is that too selective for you?

So Trump said something that drew sympathy for himself and his family? YUGE shocker there!

Trump has been known to push "alternative facts" and outright lies throughout his campaign and presidency so far. I'll take his word with a grain of salt.

Unnamed sources are totally legit in this instance but in any situation that is negative to trump unnamed sources are laughed at and dismissed..fake news
In this instance though it's for realz

How is Melania an unnamed source?

Who knows if it is real, it's impossible to tell without having been there. But I think it shows your bias to automatically claim it is fake.

So now you are comparing "Was Obama born in the US?" to a disembodied head. Gotcha. You seem desperate to skirt the issue.

Wow. Just wow.

(Mental illness. Time to call in the CDC. People that excuse this sh*t and attribute it to trying to garner sympathy are sick sick sick. They don't even know it.)

I don't know why I should believe the unnamed source that claims Trumps kid cried over it, but even if I did then, so what.

Is the billionaire housewife unable to do some parenting so he can get over it?

i think it is crap too

of course i dont know for sure but i feel like trump and melania probably got wind of that pic before baron saw it.
the way i see it there are a few possibles

baron saw it and cried for mommy...
melania and/or trump saw it first and didnt think to talk to the kid cause he might see it
this is being used to play on peoples emotions cause....oh poor baron

i think the first is the least likely

the president and the first lady had to know about that image before the 11 year old dont you think?

if so why not tell the kid he might see an image that is in bad taste..a bad joke..but not real so dont worry
maybe they did?

and then got the unnamed source to pull them heart strings hard

or baron was chilling and watching cnn. i guess that is possible

did he see the pic with no context? he supposedly saw it on the news...did they flash the pic and nothing else?

were there words being spoken or on the screen? 11 year olds can hear right? they can read right?

i think its bs...

just an opinion

They probably knew that his short form birth certificate is fraudulent and know exactly what he was hiding by presenting the public with that completely bullsh*t document. I don't recall, however, if Trump actually said Obama wasn't an American, it's anyone's guess though.

So, that's one significant difference. Obama's short form birth certificate is demonstrably fraudulent (no one can say for sure with the long form), but Trump was really not decapitated.
