When the time is right, it will be re-assembled on the Mount in the Temple, enabling the sacrificial service to be resumed without delay.
It is exciting to see these developments unfold in the Land of Israel regarding the building of a Third Temple as we eagerly watch for the second coming of our Messiah!

Not necessarily. Some research has suggested that the 2nd Temple was located some 300 feet northwest of the Dome of the Rock.
