Yeah, France has sent troops to Iraq to fight on the side of the terrorists. This has been going on for a while now.

Yeah just like the Australian government sent troops in the form of David Hicks to fight alongside the taliban against our offical troop deployments in Afganistan
Isn't it at all possible that these people could have gone to Iraq (or Afganistan in the case of Hicks) without the knowedge of their governments? Quote from the article.

The newspaper named two of the men as Chekou Diakhabi, 19, and Peter Cherif, 22, from the same Paris neighbourhood where French intelligence agents made a series of arrests of suspected Islamic militants last week.

The pair left Paris for Iraq early last year with several others allegedly recruited by the group's spiritual leader Farid Benyettou, 23, who was one of the 11 people detained last week, the paper reported.

Please present some evidence to back up this spurious claim. There have been 'french' people found amoung the insurgency, but these are inevitably algerians who have french citizenship or muslims of immigrant extraction who returned to the middle east from france.

Your statement above reads 'the French government sends members of the french army to fight the US'
